The bed was comfy and I slept extremely well. My room was cosy. The door was lockable. And I had 24 hour access to the property, as long as I didn't loose the keys. As I was going to an event in Barking Park, The Saxon Rooms were only a convenient short walk away. The owner was friendly, polite, generous and helpful. And somehow you can book to leave your car on his drive....

The noisy children playing out the front early in the morning. - But you can't change that, plus I was probably much louder at their age!

The overall location of the property was fine, can't say very good, and can't say it was bad. House was clean but very noisy. People were talking the whole night, almost till 5 am. I don't recommend it if you want a place to sleep well.

I booked a single room and the title was "Deluxe Single Room" When I entered the room, it was a single bed (nothing like the word Deluxe suit here). My feet almost touched the LCD at the other end of the bed. You can barely stand if you have a small bag with you. I measured the dimensions and it was around 1.6 meters wide and 7.7 meters in length. Totally uncomfortable. In addition, the power outlet with the bed was very difficult to reach due to a lack of space with the bed and side table. However, the House owner seems to be a good person and the place was very cozy.
