Location was safe and nice for a short one night stay in San jose. Mercado was very close. Shared spaces, entire place is lovely with good air circulation and sunlight. Tani was very helpful and is a wonderful host

Loved how pretty the property was and it felt pretty secure. However, it was a little hard to find. The sign is super small.
Just that it’s hard to find and that there wasn’t parking offered.

The staff was AMAZING! My flight was delayed and got in after midnight and someone was there to greet me at the door and ensure I got in safely and checked-in for the night. The place is really safe and quiet and I slept well. The breakfast was great and cooked to order. The coffee was also really good. The housekeepers/cooks were really nice & ensured I had everything I needed. I am extremely grateful for the staff.
The rooms are not up-to-date and the bathrooms reflect this as well. The common area is very nice, however, based on the rating the place has, I was surprised by how basic and kind of below board the amenities were. However, for under $40/night with a private room and bathroom, I can say I absolutely got what I paid for. It just did not reflect the pictures on the website, so it was a bit shocking.
