Beautiful unusual location with stunning views. Good price. Terrace. Free parking. Professional stuff.
The mattress wasn't very comfortable, too soft.
Few kitchen utensils (no cutting board, for example).

It was clean, friendly staff and nice view
Confusing to get to. More “rustic” than expected. Very basic room. No mosquito nets.

The staff exemplifies professionalism and warmth, while the venue boasts a serene, nearly private beach nearby. I look forward to returning soon.
The journey to the village is both adventurous and risky. The road is quite narrow, and the GPS signal is often unreliable.

I liked everything! The location, the beach, the bungalow has an awesome view. The staff is very helpful and attentive to one needs. They also are nice and very energetic.
You can also access the premises by a 20 Minutes walk along the beach to go to the city for a drink or for a “Gelato”but please do not walk the tunel, it is only for cars. They also rent “Vespas” Kayaks and SUPs so if you like adventure this is the right place for you. They also have a restaurant and a small store if you don’t want to leave the complex.
Book in advance since everyone love this place!

Wonderful stay! We love the location and faculties. We had our own private beach umbrella and chairs included for the duration of our stay. The beach is fabulous! Perfect for a relaxing vacation.

I would call it an exotic location. The view is stunning! We stayed in a well-organised bungalow; you have almost everything you need. It is a very tranquil place.

This was a great adventure for our family, who is so used to hotels and Airbnbs. Same old, same old. Smeraldo is this unique little community--part camping, part quaint little bungalows that we called "tree houses." While it's a bit more rustic, simple, rough?, it was really a wonderful experience.

the view
the location was incorrect on booking.com and took us 55 minutes in the wrong direction - I would recommend getting close to that area and putting in the name to locate it. we ended up on the top of a hill using that directions

The location was great and the view from the cottage was amazing.
Price value was not great. On arrival the cottage wasn’t very clean. The mattresses were quite hard. Not enough warm water in the bathroom for 2 people. The nights were quite chilly but the heating didn’t work for 3 nights- and for the 1 night that it worked, it was really noisy

It wasn't easy to reach the place but worth the trouble. It is a beautiful place, very friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent.
Everything was great

The setting is very beautiful, close to the waters edge. The cabin is comfortable with very good kitchen needs. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The double bed was uncomfortable and the hot water must be preset as even when using full hot it was not hot enough for washing up.

Ocean camping is divine!

the location was beautiful. It was on the side of a wooded hill overlooking the sea with Moneglia town across the bay. It was peaceful especially at night with just the sound of the sea dashing against the rocks. We had booked a one bedroom bungalow but found the sounds of people talking on the adjacent balcony too obtrusive. We upgraded to a two bedroom detached bungalow which was much nicer and also had stoppers in the sinks ! The restaurant was very good and its location above the water was magical. We found the staff everywhere friendly and efficient. However be warned that you cannot reach the town of Moneglia on foot even though it is very close because the only entry and exit is via a one way single lane tunnel with entry at 20 minute intervals. we used a good taxi service - 15 euro for a return trip to Moneglia.
The access via the tunnel makes it restrictive. If you like walking as we do you need your car or a taxi to get to the town and to walking trails. Similarly if you want to go to a restaurant or shopping in the town the only access is by car.

This place is a paradise on a hillside by the sea, with a wonderful view of the nearby town, across the sea. Great background of the rooms and outdoor seating, there were older houses as well as completely newly renovated ones. These were incredibly comfortable. Overall, this place is a very friendly environment.

The bungalow was large and clean. There was a nice clear view on the sea and nearby a small town from the bungalow. The sea was clean. We had a parasol and two sunbeds available. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The apartment has more or less all we need.
The place is direct on the beach.
The access to the camping is inside the tunnel and we don't have the freedom to come and go when we like.
The pictures are quite different on comparison the reality.

We stayed for two nights. The location is amazing and the view from the room, wow!
Its also a 20-30 minutes walk from the train station that takes to the Cinque terre villages, so we used our full day to visit them. The restaurant in the place is really great, they have the best pizzas.
Highly recommended!

The Private Beach
The studio is too close to the car tunnel (traffic noise)

Nice, tidy bungalow, very functional and comfortable for 5. The sea is at arms reach, well maintained little beach with sunbeds provided. Nice walk to Moneglia along the water for restaurants, bars and a sandy beach. A very enjoyable long weekend, would live to return!
The restaurant could be better.
