Head upstairs and uncover four bedrooms, all with twin beds that can be moved together to create king-size doubles – offering fantastic flexibility. Exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and illuminating skylights provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as a sense of space. Just a few kilometres away, Vrouwenpolder is a family-friendly resort that's right on the beach. The sand stretches as far as the eye can see in both directions, meaning it's easy enough to find a section to call your own. Alternatively, head to one of the restaurants set overlooking the sea and let the kids loose in the playground. For a spot of culture, the scenic city of Middelburg is just a fifteen-minute drive away. Here, in the regional capital, we'd recommend wandering the spectacular streets, enjoying some scenic cycling through its parks, and stopping by its manor houses.
