Switch off at this stunning home on the outskirts of Benalauría, a neat base for exploring all that the Andalusian countryside has to offer. What this home lacks in showstopping amenities, it more than makes up for in old-school atmosphere, boasting a whole host of traditional design features that make you feel at ease the second you step over the threshold.
While away summer afternoons by the private pool, a drink in one hand and a good book in the other, before heading inside to unwind by the fire. When it’s time to eat, rustle up a home-cooked tapas feast and tuck in at the homely dining table, where we’d recommend cracking open a cool bottle of wine to share with your fellow guests.
If you fancy getting out and about, there’s plenty to explore nearby. Head into Benalauría for a spot of people-watching or make your way to the Castle of Benadalid and soak up some of the region’s rich history.
