This incredible home is something really special. As you approach through the forest, it looks at first like a traditional house, but as you draw closer you’ll discover that whole walls are made of glass. From wherever you are in the home, forest views flood the space, adding green to the otherwise neutral colour palette. If you’re hoping for a holiday where you can escape the stresses of your daily life, relax and unwind, and get back to nature, this is the perfect choice. In the morning, you’ll be greeted by the view of the woods – it’s ever so tempting to stay in bed a little longer, sipping your coffee and drinking in the tranquillity of the setting. The master bathroom has a whirlpool bath, so you can really take your R&R to the next level. Mealtimes here are a delight, thanks to the magnificent dining room. Windows make up the walls on two sides of the room, so it feels as though you’re dining in the forest – with added luxuries like a roaring fireplace and chic decor. The outside space is, of course, lovely. You can play board games at the dining table on the deck – unless you’re using it for a barbecued meal, of course. There are sun loungers, too, ideal for the grown-ups when the little ones are playing on the lawn. If you want to explore further afield, it only takes ten minutes to drive to Blåvandshuk Fyr, a wonderful lighthouse with stunning views. The beach at Skallingen is only thirteen minutes away too.
