Such a cool place to stay. Rooms were HUGE and the breakfast was lovely, but the real star of the show was the owner. She was THE BEST HOST WE HAVE EVER HAD. so attentive, so helpful, so understanding. Her English was fantastic and she helped us with literally anything we needed. If you are planning on hiking through Seoraksan, she is the woman to speak to. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Judith was such a great host, so welcoming and helpful! It’s a great place to stay if you want to go hiking as it’s just a 30 min bus into the national park! Couldn’t recommend here enough.

THE BEST hostel that I’ve ever stayed in, made entirely by Judith, the host. She went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect, offering recommendations on where to eat, which hikes to do and anything else to do while in Sokcho. The place is clean, comfortable, in a perfect, convenient location and offers a delicious breakfast. I would not miss the opportunity to stay here if you can

The host sent very clear check-in instructions and all arrival details in advance, which made everything easy and stress-free. We arrived a little earlier than expected and were kindly allowed to leave our car and start exploring the town right away. We received excellent local recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, and activities. Every suggestion was wonderful and helped make our stay even more memorable. What impressed us most was the genuine care and attention shown to guests. The host’s excellent English was especially appreciated and is quite rare to find outside the larger cities in Korea. Communication was warm, easy, and thoughtful from beginning to end. The guesthouse itself is beautiful, cozy, and exceptionally clean. Thoughtful little details throughout the property create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The shower was excellent, and everything was well maintained. The host was also very flexible and considerate of our needs, even offering an earlier breakfast time to accommodate our schedule. After we left, we received the kindest message from the host, which perfectly reflected the warmth and generosity we experienced during our stay. It made us feel that we were not just guests, but truly welcomed visitors. We are very grateful for this wonderful experience, would happily return, and wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality.
