An Tigín Buí

Het huis is knus en gezellig en met heel veel zorg ingericht. Het was echt heel erg schoon. Je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt. Bij aankomst stonden er verse scones voor ons klaar en was de koelkast rijkelijk gevuld met benodigdheden voor een degelijk 'English Breakfast'. Dit was echt heel uitgebreid en een zeer genereuze geste. De ligging is enorm rustig. Je hoort er 's nachts helemaal niets.

Eigenlijk was er niets op het huisje aan te merken, maar als ik toch iets moet noemen: een extra toilet of 2 badkamers zou handig zijn geweest. Er is slechts 1 toilet en dit toilet bevindt zich in de badkamer.

La maison était coquette, très calme et bien équipée. Nous avons eu une chambre pour chaque enfant et un bel espace de vie avec salle à manger et séjour. L'accueil était très sympathique et Noreen nous avait prévu tout ce qu'il fallait pour un petit déjeuner typique.

The house itself and the quiet surroundings

Communication with Noreen was smooth and friendly, she contacted me a couple of days before arrival to let me know the code for the key box and ask if we'd prefer to meet her on arrival, which was lovely. The house itself is stunning, surrounded by countryside and beautiful views. It has everything you could need for a short or long stay and we really appreciated the fridge being stocked ready for a full Irish breakfast. The homemade scones waiting on the countertop were a very welcome surprise after a long day travelling too! The owners really have done everything to ensure guests can just put their bags down and put their feet up rather than having to go out for emergency supplies. The house is incredibly peaceful, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious - we slept like logs. Thank you so much and we hope to come back very soon.
