OESIS - Stylish Villa Steps from Historic Galle Fort

Lovely accommodation, ideal for a family in a great quiet location within a short walking distance to the shops and fort. Ideal base to visit many amazing sandy beaches and other tourist locations, plenty within easy reach.

The host was great 👍 the only suggestion is that I would provide small toiletries for the lovely on suite bathrooms. It is a great help at small cost to guests arriving after a long flight who need a shower.

The villa is big and has enough beds for our family of 5. The kitchen was well equipped which made it easy for cooking our own meals. There was a washing machine which was a welcome need after traveling for 10 days with a family of 5. (Bring your own washing powder) The beds were comfortable. Overall it was a fine stay for one night.

It is not a stylish villa steps from historic galle fort. This is misleading. The photos must be very old as it doesn't look like this anymore. There are no plants/grass in the drive way. It is about 1km to the edge of the old town, which is fine if you like walking. But is not steps away. The property is tired. The kitchen was dirty and the floor around the gas cooker had oil splatters. There were no towels and as we did not have any of our own we had to find them in a cupboard. The payment is only in cash (so be prepared for this) The guy entered the house while we were still in it (and a few hours before check out) and turned off the lights and fans. Our children were alone in the house and he did not message us in advance to say he was coming. This is not ok.
