KAMAKU Bungalows - Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach is truly magical, and this guesthouse is perfectly located between the ocean and the jungle, just steps from the shore, making the setting feel even more special. The owners, a young couple from Barcelona, add to the magic with their relaxed, friendly, and easygoing personalities. I’m very grateful for the conversations I had with Julia—they made my stay even more memorable. The other guests were also incredibly friendly, which added to the welcoming atmosphere and great vibes at Kamaku. The food is outstanding, among the best I had during my two weeks traveling in Cambodia, and definitely the best on the island in my opinion. I fell in love with Kamaku and would absolutely love to come back.

Beautiful guesthouse directly on a wild beach. The hosts Lisandro and Carlos are amazing. And of course the sunset is a plus!

The path to get there was challenging when we went there, because of the rain. Lisandro sent us a tractor to help us with the transfer, but you still have to walk 15 minutes downhill in the jungle. Also, unfortunately there was a lot of trash on the beach (probably taken by the sea).
