Very clean, lovely view and very well equipped with foods and facilities

Great use of space that fulfilled all our needs for an overnight stop. The addition of the heated blankets were a welcome addition. Andrew and Ofelia were on hand for anything we needed and were so pleasant.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.

Very clean. Lovely northfacing windows let in beautiful light. Adequate blinds for privacy. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Good location. Nice view. Pool looks lovely and well-kept, although we didn't use it on this occasion. Appreciated the option to pay more for a fully refundable cancellation, as we ended up needing to cancel our first night when our plans changed unexpectedly a few days before we were meant to arrive.

This property is more suited to airbnb. It is a renovated basement under someone's home. This is not clear from the ad, and was disappointing to discover upon arrival, as it is not what we were looking for on this occasion. It is also not a 'suite', but more of an apartment. Lots of loud footsteps and conversation noise from overhead during the day, starting from about 7am until about 8pm. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. Lots of random grocery items, which guests need to assemble and cook themselves using the stand-alone electric element that has been provided. Most items had been opened and partially used by previous guests, and some (such as cereal) were not in their original packaging. The only bread provided was cheap generic white bread, which we do not eat. We used very little of anything that was provided, but rather went to Woolies and bought our own items. When we read 'breakfast provided', this is not what we expect, and I feel it is dishonest not to specify in the ad what is actually being offered. The bathroom is very small and outdated by about 30 years, with the sink almost too tiny to be useful. The kitchen is outdated and worn, but does the job. I didn't appreciate being asked upon arrival what time we planned to leave and the implication that we would be interfering with the host's travel plans if we were to stay until checkout time. As it was, we were planning to get away by 9am anyway, so our response appeared to be acceptable. The walk from the car was okay for us, but would be difficult for anyone with mobility challenges or carrying a lot of luggage, as it is long and convoluted, on a narrow path, with a few stairs, and requires passage through two closed safety gates. Lighting is okay, but not great.
