Wanted to stay here based off of the pics, but disappointed when arrived on site.

Centrally located to the city

Didn’t feel comfortable. The rooms seemed to be good from the photos but in person left much to be desired. We went to check in but didn’t even sleep there because we were very disappointed, even after the staff showed us different room options. The fact that it was also non-refundable left a sour taste in our mouths. R13k gone

Was very pleasant, minus the cockroaches.

Except the excessive amount of cockroaches seen in the bathroom and few in the room closet, it was all great. Was my second time there and first time seeing cockroaches there. I like the hotel, the staff. Congratulations. All the staff are the just extremely kind.

The room had way too many cockroaches coming from the bathroom. I even recommended to get it a professional company to DESINFECT. That’s the only issue I had.

Very accommodating staff, nothing too much trouble

Staff were amazing, especially Luke on reception and Sam on roof bar.

First night we were booked into a very small economy room, air con didnt work efficiently. We mentioned this to reception (luke) who arranged for a room change the second night. Much better. Good sleep and everything was great

The Location

The main door and balcony doors for both bedrooms were not working properly the main entrance opened while we were sleeping at night because of the wind, also it was very noisy at night the room was located under the rooftop area, we had to ask for the room to be cleaned, and dustbin emptied in the afternoon around 5 when we got back to the hotel.

Noise from the next room, noise from street, noise from bar fridge , light coming through the bottom of the door, aircon not working, soap went missing, coffee sachets not refilled - 3 night stay but only enough coffee for 2 nights. Towels not replaced in the 3 days

i did get Aircon remote i went down the report they said they will come they never. the following day i ask again then other man come and open but did not leave remote he told me he take it from other room he will organize me one he never do that i had to sleep with it like that as i was tired of reporting something many times.

Very bad experience. Will not go back.

Our stay was very disappointing. We found small cockroaches in the room and the shower drain was blocked, causing water to pool while bathing. The room also had a connecting door to the next room, and we could clearly hear the other guests talking and even snoring throughout the night — there was no soundproofing at all. To make things worse, the TV still had a history of adult content from previous guests, which was very uncomfortable. We also couldn’t access Netflix because too many other users were logged in. I have video and photo evidence of the cockroach and the inappropriate TV history. Overall, the experience was far below expectations and definitely not worth the price. I won’t be returning.

I liked everything, from the location of the hotel, the hotel itself, status of the hotel, the friendly staff, the room, the closeness of the hotel to everything. The shopping centers, table mountain, Bo-Kaap, and the amazing rooftop from which I saw all the scenery and table mountain. It was my first time coming to cape town, i'm more than delighted I got this hotel. Thank you

The room was nice and location was good.

We waited over five hours for our room to be cleaned. I had to phone reception to ask if they were still going to clean our room. Reception staff were also not the friendliest. Also it felt that everything was just a money making business. We could not take any drinks to the beautiful roof top, forcing us to buy drinks from the bar. And also we could not take food into our rooms, it felt that they only wanted us to only buy food from the restaurant, which by the way was not cheap.

The fact that wifi never gave me any issues. Smooth 24/7.

My aircon did not want to switch to heater mode but it is fine. The cleaner offered to help but I was in a hurry on my way out, so I did not have the time to wait but honestly, it was not a big issue. Or could be I probably did not even know how to use it.
