Encore Resort and Water Park at Reunion by Rentyl

Great location, Villa was spacious and clean. Lots of bathrooms

Needed a clothes rack to help with drying of clothes and a couple more sunbeds. Skimmer for the pool, need more clothes hangers and mop and vacuum cleaner.

Staff that helped us were so good.

WiFi kept dropping and felt short staffed.

We had previously stayed at this resort but on a private rental. This time, we went direct to Reunion to access the water park. The villa was virtually identical to the previous one, so we knew the layout and the great pool.

This Villa lacked all the little touches that you find in a private rental. We had to purchase our own towels for the pool. You could request more but at a price. I asked at reception for a sink plug and a tin opener that wasn't in the villa. 'We don't provide them' was the impersonal reply. Only a small amount of plates and cups and no teat towels In the garage was a table tennis table with no balls and a dart board with no darts. One of the bedrooms was used as a cinema room. Here, there were no instructions on how to use it, an X- Box with no controllers or games, and although each room had a TV, the remotes had batteries low or missing. The waterpark main pool was too cold and the slide took off all the skin on my leg as I came off of the mat slightly. This also left an infection for the duration of my stay. We have been renting Villas for over 25 years, and this is the most basic supplied one that I have rented. Even though we left the villa in a good and tidy condition with no breakages, they retained half of my security deposit. Despite numerous attempts of contacting them, the email contact continuously said that the front desk would get in touch, I have not had any contact to tell me the reasoning for this. The Encore resort is great, but book a private rental and don't bother with the Waterpark
