The Osborn at Brick Lane

The apartment was really well equipped, there was coffee or tea for everyone, and you could overall find anything you would need for a short stay (e.g. hairdryer, shampoo & shower gel, kitchenware, plenty of toilet paper, etc). The location was exceptional, as the closest tube station was 3 minutes away (Aldgate East Station) and you could get to the main sightseeing areas or the O2 arena in less than 30 mins. There were a lot of restaurants, coffe shops and other shops nearby, and brick lane's market was within a walkable distance, you could even walk to Tower Bridge or Sky Garden. The general area felt relatively safe, even at night, and the neighbourhood was friendly and multicultural, but not full of many tourists. Everything in the apartment was easy to find and there was a guide provided by our host that really helped a lot. The rooms were comfortable and big enough for four people, but the bathroom was a little bit small. Collecting the keys and getting in the apartment was really easy, as the instructions provided were very clear. Our host was great with the communication (quick to respond and very helpful) and helped us with all of our requests. Overall, we would stay there again and we would recommend it to anyone who would like to get a better/more local glimpse of London.

The bathroom was a bit small, which was clear in the description, but it felt very cluttered. Even though the apartment as a whole was relatively clean, there were some spots that were a bit dusty and hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. Also, as stated previously, although there were many amenities that made our stay more pleasant, there were a lot of towels and bed sheets in the closets that you couldn't tell if they were clean or not. At last, the back room could use a bit better ventilation as it could get really humid or dusty. However, these are all minor details that could only help improve the apartment, rather than complaints, as we were very pleased with our stay.

Two things that show immediately how hospitable the flat (that is, its owner Faruq) is: umbrellas and adapters to UK sockets can be borrowed in the apartment. And there is also coffee, chocolate, water, all the kitchen equipment to make the stay smooth and comfy. Truly, this is a gem in London. You never grow tired of the lively Brick Lane plus the apartment is well-equipped and Faruq is very communicative and nice. Thank you once again! 🩵

Nothing, really. If you expect 100 % silence at night, obviously, do not hire a flat on Brick Lane street. But, to be honest, it wasn't noisy at all - we slept like logs :)

Blisko do metra, dobrze wyposarzona kuchnia. Lokalizacja okey, w miarę blikso na most londyński. Okolica wydawała się bezpieczna. Był zapewniony papier, mydła , szampony i inne udogodnienia. Na plus tez woda do picia.

Wieczory to dramat. Ciężko zasnąc nawet przy zamkniętym oknie. Sam musiałem używać stoperów do uszu. Na dworze wieczorami masa krzyków różnego rodzaju ( imprezy / lekko pijani ludzie). Komfort spania troche to zaniża. Kurz w grzejniku, dla alergików co mają uczulenie na kurz i roztocza może to być problem. Choć sam nie doświadczyłem objawów alergii.
