The “Sternenklar” Vacation Home on the North Sea Coast A relaxing vacation with a view of the vast East Frisian landscape!
Buttforde is a very small village southwest of the North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel, near the state-recognized climatic health resort of Werdum. It’s a quiet, peaceful place—perfect for you if you’re looking to truly unwind!
In Buttforde, you’ll find our cozy vacation home, “Sternenklar.” With approximately 85 square meters of space, the vacation home offers plenty of room for up to 4 people, plus an additional toddler, to relax.
The “Sternenklar” vacation home has a friendly and cozy design and is equipped with everything you might need during your vacation. For example, there’s a large terrace with patio furniture and a spacious, fully fenced-in garden with an unobstructed view of the surrounding meadows and fields!
The “Sternenklar” vacation home is about 4 kilometers from the health resort town of Werdum. There you’ll find, for example, a “Haus des Gastes” (visitors’ center) and a Kneipp therapy hall. Not far away is the petting zoo, which is especially popular with children—it features many exotic animals to observe and even pet. And just a few meters away is the village square with the adjacent local brewery.
Werdum is a small and cozy village that welcomes guests in all seasons, offering peace and relaxation a little way off the tourist hustle and bustle of the Siel villages.
The “Sternenklar” vacation home is located 8 km as the crow flies from the dike and the North Sea. The North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel—which you can reach by car in about 10 minutes—is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active shrimp boat fleet. In the beautiful historic fishing harbor, East Frisian fishing is still actively practiced today by many crab fishing boats.
Neuharlingersiel offers a wide range of tourist attractions for your vacation: A beach with the fantastic “Platschi” water play area, the new, modern “BadeWerk” spa and wellness center with a seawater indoor pool and sauna facilities, as well as a spa house, a ballroom, an information center with the “Leuchttürmchen” children’s playhouse, the Sielhof as the “Haus des Gastes,” green spaces, events, a lovingly maintained historic harbor, and of course the “Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park” with its unique natural spectacle, as well as many other attractions.

The “Nordseetherme Bensersiel” is a modern, heated water park and leisure facility. The therapy center (including all spa facilities) as well as a modern wellness, sauna, and fitness center are also located within the “Nordseetherme Bensersiel.”
