About this house rental
The house offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation:
Across approximately 130 m², our guests will find pure “hygge”—contemporary Scandinavian coziness
in white and natural tones, with oak floorboards, solid wood tables, and cozy Nordic accents in shades of blue and gray—the colors of the North Sea—all within a bright, light-filled atmosphere.
Through the inviting entryway, which already exudes a beachy atmosphere, you reach the white built-in kitchen with a cozy seating area complete with a corner bench,
before continuing on to the reading nook, the desk with a sweeping view of the fields of Nordstrand, and the round extendable dining table with a spacious sofa area that can also be converted into a double bed if needed.
The beautiful panoramic fireplace and the swiveling TV can be seen clearly from both there and from the dining table.
(It goes without saying that the kitchen is equipped with everything you need in terms of cutlery, dishes, and appliances.)
The house on the Hamburg dike offers a wonderful hideaway not far from the North Sea, even for its young vacation guests, with the “Pirate’s Nest”—a little paradise for children that, as one of the two “Good-Night Rooms” on the first floor, is the first of the rooms to welcome them. Complete with pirate beds and countless toys.
Of course, a treasure chest containing everything pirates need to conquer the world is a must.
It’s not just the decor that lets little pirates dream of adventures on the North Sea
—it’s also a dream come true for parents that there are so many toys, books, DVDs, and more here that kids can keep themselves entertained for hours.
Upon arrival, the treasure map shows them the way to the treasure...
Outside the house, which includes a large fenced-in garden, the little adventurers will also find a ship that has been repurposed as a sandbox, letting their imaginations run wild…. and much more. “Ahoy and cast off!”
The parents’ “good-night room” is located at the end of the hallway on the same upper floor,
and the cozy living area with a sleeper sofa is also a wonderful place to rest if needed.
The Nordseehaus is a home where you can simply forget about everyday life—whether because of its location on the quiet dike, away from all the hustle and bustle, its proximity to the water, or its timelessly relaxing decor and the many indoor and outdoor amenities the house offers.
It also features 2 spacious bathrooms, each with a toilet (1 per floor—the one downstairs has a bathtub, and the one upstairs has a shower).
The garden’s porthole-style beach chair, situated on the approximately 800 m² property, where you can sit sheltered while letting your gaze wander over the dike, invites you to relax just as much as the terrace and the barrel sauna in the garden!
A barrel—not full of rum, but full of relaxation—ensures that even the adventurous vacationers will get their money’s worth.
The garden is perfect for relaxing and playing, and there’s even a small herb garden of your own,
from which you’re welcome to help yourself.
For guests of all ages—and even four-legged friends—the Nordseehaus, with its “Pirate’s Nest,” offers an ideal retreat right by the North Sea.
Here, you can run around to your heart’s content and/or simply unwind.
Camping spots are available, as well as storage space for (your own or rented) bicycles in the Rad-Hus.
Other amenities: grill, microwave, washing machine, and much more. A crib, high chair, stair gate, and similar items can be found in the storage room on the 1st floor.
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to midnight, and check-out from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
