Come and stay in this recently renovated space in the charming Old North End! Lovingly called the "Fox Den" this basement apartment features art from local artists and feels warm and inviting.
We are in walking distance to wonderful coffee shops, bars and parks. You'll be close to both the mountains and the trendy downtown area.
Note: Most of the living space has 6'4 ceilings however, there are shorter spots that are 5' 10 and the shower is quite short, at 5'9. Please aware of this when booking.

My wife and I had a great stay at the Fox Den. Katie and Bryan were both very nice when we ran into them in person.
All of the other reviews accurately rated this VRBO. The only detail I would add is that the family is staying above the basement. There is some running around you hear from the kids. That being said, the family is quiet by 7pm. It really didn’t bother my wife and I at all, just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on just staying in the VRBO.
The VRBO is extremely well stocked, and well thought out. You can tell that Katie really puts time and effort into the place. Also the location in relation to Colorado Springs, and Garden of the gods is GREAT.
My wife and I would definitely stay here again if we are in Colorado Springs.

I was very pleased with my stay. The property was just what i expected from the listing. It was very clean. Property owners were pleasant and helpful and had a nice binder with recommendations of different things to do. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay again in the future.

Our stay at "The Fox Den" was, for the most part, great. Great location - close to a wide variety of activities, sights, restaurants, etc. Very clean and inviting, with many thoughtful amenities (bathroom amenities, fully-functional kitchen, a filled Brita water pitcher waiting in the fridge, Keurig machine and pods, environmentally-friendly soaps, etc.). Easy private entrance. Easy parking. The "apartment" is located in the basement of a beautiful older house that the hosts live in. During our stay the house itself was also rented out, and the guests upstairs were a little noisy, particularly early in the morning. Apparently the hosts only rent the upper part of the house out once a year, so we just happened to be there during that time. If it hadn't been for the early-morning noise we would've given a full 5-star review.
