Only IF we are able to secure for that property a new agreement for the same time period and dollar amount will your monies be refunded (less 15% of the gross rent). All cancellations must be put in writing and received by our office prior to re-renting.

This home worked out well for my husband and I, my 16-year-old son and our two dogs. We chose it largely for the fenced in yard, which was great for the dogs. Although the property says it is “dog friendly,” they tell you after you book that animals are not allowed on any of the furniture. Our only serious issue with the house was that the air conditioning does not cool many of the bedrooms. We were there over Labor Day weekend when it was quite hot. You are not allowed to turn the air any cooler than 72 degrees, which is more than adequate for the common living spaces, but completely inadequate for the king bedroom downstairs, the king bedroom upstairs, and another of the bedrooms. We slept in a smaller bedroom just because it was cooler. It also would be really nice if they’d stock just a few necessities like toilet paper and paper towel. You don’t need to pack beach chairs and umbrellas as you can rent them on the beach. Parking near the beach is completely inadequate and the house is a good 3 miles from the beach so we rented bicycles which worked out ok, although some of the roads are not completely bike-friendly. The people at Wilgus were a bit hit or miss when it came to assistance. They answered a few questions by email in a rather terse manner and didn’t answer other emails at all, like when we asked for the wifi information.
