Whispering Pines on Deer Lake! Beautifully updated and furnished 4 Bedroom, 2 full bath lake home in charming Wautoma. Situated on a large wooded lot with a wrap around deck overlooking Deer Lake. Completely remodeled house that sleeps 11. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and spacious lake home. Private and located on Deer Lake, (no wake) with access to Hills Lake, (full wake) for additional boating fun, just steps from the home! Enjoy time together on the large deck, around the fire pit, kayaking or fishing in the serene lake, grilling out on the gas grill, or preparing meals in the gorgeous kitchen. Close to restaurants and bars for fun and entertainment, as well as two 18 hole golf courses. Kayaks and small fishing boat included!

The property is very well stocked with everything clearly labeled. We especially appreciated access to the kayaks (5!!!) and lifejackets! Super nice to have laundry facilities readily available too. A/C worked great, which was important as the weather was in the 90s with high humidity. Host Eric responded to all of my questions almost immediately. We witnessed some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, and were able to watch July 4 fireworks from across the lake over the trees. The basement bedroom with the king bed was dark and very cool, which given the hot and humid weather when we stayed, was a real relief. Only issue - I had hoped to swim in the lake, but found the water a little too weedy for my taste. Other people were swimming, though. However, we drove to Marl Lake County Park a short distance away, which was great for swimming.I had a hard time finding properties that could accommodate our extended family – 11 people – but this truly fit the bill. Also highly recommend the KBR barbecue restaurant on the outskirts of Wautoma!
