About this apartment rental
The historic maritime pilot station building is centrally located and perched above the picturesque harbor of Sassnitz. A particularly impressive feature of the harbor is Europe’s longest outer pier. Many sightseeing boats depart from here. The beach promenade winds past cafés and restaurants all the way to the historic old town and the pier. Shopping options and the thermal baths are located near your vacation rental. From here, you can easily take day trips to the nearby Jasmund National Park and the famous chalk cliffs.
You can reach the chic duplex apartment on the first floor of the historic maritime pilot station via a few steps through its own private entrance.
As soon as you enter the apartment, your gaze is immediately drawn to the stunning ocean view, which can be enjoyed through the wide window front in the living area. The couch can be used as a sleeper sofa for a third or fourth person.
The apartment also features a kitchen, a dining area, and a bathroom with a shower on the upper level.
From the kitchen window on the side, guests can look out over their small entryway to the courtyard terrace across the way, which is very welcome for guests to use. A grill (upon request) and patio furniture are available.
The lower level of the maisonette apartment features the spacious bedroom, which was just renovated at the end of 2022. The vaulted ceiling and the partially original brick wall perfectly reflect the historic charm of this vacation home.
One parking space directly at the house is included in the travel price.
Unfortunately, charging electric vehicles and batteries for e-bikes, e-scooters, and similar devices is not permitted in the apartment or anywhere on the Seelotsenstation property. Please use the public charging stations in Sassnitz and the surrounding area. On behalf of the homeowners’ association, we ask for your understanding.

The Maisonette Seelotse is truly a charming apartment with a fantastic ocean view in one of Rügen’s most beautiful harbor towns.
We generally ask that you do not smoke in the apartment.

The chic Seelotse maisonette apartment is located on the first floor of the historic pilot station. You can reach it via a few steps through its own entrance area. As soon as you step into the apartment, your gaze is immediately drawn to the stunning ocean view, which can be enjoyed through the wide window front in the living area.
On the upper level, the apartment features a fully equipped kitchen with a ceramic cooktop (4 burners), oven, microwave, and dishwasher. From the side kitchen window, guests have a view across their small entryway to the courtyard terrace across the way, which vacationers are welcome to use. Garden furniture is available, and a grill can be used upon request. There is also a dining area, and at the back, the living area with its wide window front and ocean view. The couch can be used as a sleeper for a third or fourth person (sleeping area: 1.40 m x 1.80 m). Cable TV, a DVD player, a CD player, and Wi-Fi are standard features in this modern apartment and included in the price.
Additionally, there is a spacious and attractive shower room on this level.
On the lower level of the maisonette apartment is the spacious bedroom, recently renovated in late 2022, featuring a new box-spring bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m), a wardrobe, and a small corner storage niche (containing a vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron, etc.). The vaulted ceiling and the partially original brick wall in the bedroom perfectly reflect the historic charm of this vacation home.
A washer and dryer are available in the communal basement (coin-operated).
A high chair and a travel crib are available free of charge in the apartment upon request.
The lockable bike storage room has space for the bikes you bring with you.
