About this apartment rental
A 70-square-meter apartment with antique marble floors, period moldings, and finishes, accommodating up to 4 people, located on the first floor of a historic building without an elevator (20 steps to access the apartment). The property is located in the heart of the beautiful island of Ortigia, just a short walk from the Temple of Apollo, in the heart of Syracuse’s historic center (restricted traffic zone).
The apartment features a living area with a modern kitchenette, one bedroom, one bathroom, and two small balconies.
The interior is laid out as follows:
- LIVING AREA with KITCHENETTE (induction cooktop, refrigerator with freezer, electric kettle, moka pot, oven, and various kitchen utensils), dining table, closet, sofa, and small balcony;
- LIVING ROOM with a double sofa bed, open shelving, a desk, and split AC;
- BEDROOM with a double bed (1.60 m x 1.90 m), split AC, dresser, and small balcony;
- BATHROOM with a raised shower stall, sink, and toilet;
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited Wi-Fi, fans (the house stays very cool in the summer thanks to its thick walls and high ceilings), washing machine (in the bathroom), and hair dryer.
Towels and bed linens included (with optional changes available for a fee).
Crib and high chair available upon request.
PLEASE NOTE: Music from the bar downstairs may cause noise.

The entire house is for the exclusive use of guests during their stay, and there are no shared spaces with the host or other tenants.
7 days before arrival, you will receive instructions on how to upload your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of the stay, up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night, for up to 7 consecutive nights).
We need this procedure to verify your information and documents and to send the details to the Alloggiati Web police service, which is the Italian system for registering guests in Italy.

Turning the air conditioning and heating on and off is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013, and Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).
Esummer: the average air temperature must not fall below 26°C for all types of buildings.
In winter: the weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The period during which heating may be used and the daily operating time depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.
Syracuse Climate Zone B: 7 hours per day from December 8 to March 23.
Check-in will be via online self-check-in; completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on key pickup and gain access to the apartment.
Keys can be retrieved free of charge via the on-site keybox.
In case of problems, telephone assistance is available until 10:00 PM.
If you would prefer to have a member of our staff deliver the keys to the apartment, this service is available upon request for an additional fee as follows:
- From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM: 15.00 euros;
- From 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM: 25.00 euros.
