Stunning Beach Front Retreat in Galveston

Great location and beach access and views. Home was very clean. Excellent gathering place in the living room/dining area. Very nice place and well equipped. Great communications and response with the Chris, the host.

Our stay at this stunning beachfront home in Galveston was absolutely perfect! The house is right on the beach, offering breathtaking views from almost every room. The large windows throughout the house make the views feel endless, and each room feels like its own private retreat with the sound of the waves just outside.The expansive decks were an absolute highlight. We spent hours on them, enjoying the fresh sea breeze, watching the sunrise with coffee in the morning, and just unwinding with the incredible view of the beach. The lot is huge and very private, providing plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the outdoors in privacy. The neighborhood is great with large well maintained homes and absolutely no cars allowed on the beach(a good thing to check for!)Not only is this home an absolute gem, but Chris, the host, made our experience even better. From the moment we booked, he was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions and providing helpful recommendations for local activities. It was clear that he genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. Any small requests we had were handled promptly and with a friendly attitude, which made our stay even more enjoyable.If you’re looking for a beachfront escape in Galveston with amazing views and a host who goes above and beyond, this is the place to be! We can’t wait to come back next year.

There were several spaces that were both moldy (somewhat understandable) unkept, and even hazardous with regard to accessability. The oven was not working, stairs to the beach were broken and would cause a fall, and also there is a section in the kitchen that is very much in need of repair, the tiles in that section sink into the floor at least 3 inches in places, causing a tripping hazard, and possibly a collapse of the tiles into the subfloor.
