About this house rental
Casa Tio Juan is a well-maintained country house in El Jesús in the Tijarafe region. This traditional house in a rural setting can accommodate up to 2 adults and 1 child on the couch in the living room.
The surrounding area is perfect for walks and hikes. The house is a great starting point for exploring the western and northwestern parts of the island.
Casa Tio Juan:
With 48 square meters of living space, Casa Tio Juan features a bedroom, a living area with an integrated kitchenette, and a small bathroom.
The typical Canarian wooden gabled roof has been preserved in all rooms, creating a cozy atmosphere. The country-style furnishings complement the traditional character of the house well. Right next to the large window in the living room is a couch that can also be used as a sofa bed. Opposite it is a small TV.
The kitchenette is integrated into the living area and well-equipped. The dining table seats up to 4 people.
The bedroom and bathroom are located at the back of the house. The bedroom features two single beds pushed together (each 0.90 x 2.00 m) and a spacious closet. When you look out the window, you can see the ocean and the rugged northwest coast.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower stall/toilet, bidet, and sink.
In front of the house, there is a small covered patio with a table and two chairs—a lovely spot to gather, from which you can look out toward the west coast all the way to the sea.
The garden has been lovingly landscaped: flowers and colorful flowering shrubs add splashes of color to the property. Right in front of the house, a small sunbathing area with two lounge chairs and a parasol has been created. Behind the house, there is a small vegetable and herb garden.

The stay was overall excellent. The property was as described, clean, well equipped, funcional and comfortable. The location with a spectacular ocean view. There aren’t any shops nearby but with the car, it’s just a couple minutes away from the nearest Spar. There was however one little ripple/flaw, there was a major miscimmunication with the host as she does not speak English at all. Not a big deal but it could make the conversation between us, more efficient and less stressful. Apart from that it was perfect and I was extremly happy about the choice I made. Thank you. I would select that casa again if ever return to La Palma.
