About this house rental

Adorable cozy townhouse! Located in historic downtown - only 2 blocks from City Hall and a few more to UGA Arches, Classic Center and all that downtown has to offer. Also across the street from 7 acre Lay Park with playground, public pool, Lyndon House Arts Center & Museum and 1/2 a mile to North Oconee River Greenway! Enjoy shopping, dining, live music, festivals, and art galleries. A few blocks from the Georgia Theatre and 40 Watt Club down the street from The Foundry. No need for a car but includes 2 designated parking spaces. No Parties Allowed!

It’s just north of downtown across the street from a low income residential development in an area that’s not well-lit, so some people might be uncomfortable walking at night. The home is a narrow townhome with a narrow patch of land in back, perfect for a group that plans to be about town more than staying on the property.

We stay here every time we visit Athens for special events like college visits and AllState Chorus. Even though the house is not large, there is plenty of room for us and our kids. The house is safe and within walking distance of coffee shops, the Classic Center, and UGA campus. We always have a good experience staying here.If I had to give one note, it would be that the king mattress in the main bedroom could be softer. :)
