Fantastic location: Between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein—right on the Eider River
Are you looking for that very special vacation rental right on the water with a unique atmosphere? Do you love peace and quiet and seclusion? Do you enjoy biking or canoeing? Then you’ve come to the right place.
The Location
The lodge is situated in a very quiet location right on the Eider River. The nearest shopping options are in Hohn, about 8 km away. A boat and canoe rental service is located nearby (Meggerdorf)
The Amenities
Our lodge offers 10 rooms: six on the first floor with shared bathrooms (separate for men and women) and four rooms with private shower rooms on the upper floor. You can prepare your own meals in the communal kitchen and dining room. The large living room with a flat-screen TV, located in front of the ground-floor rooms, offers plenty of space even for larger groups.
We also have two vacation apartments: “Buten und binnen” is our upscale vacation rental, featuring two bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining area with a wood-burning stove, two bathrooms, and a large terrace overlooking the Eider River.
The “Blick to’n water” vacation apartment is located on the first floor and features three bedrooms, a kitchen-living room with a sofa, and a bathroom with a shower and a small balcony. All bedrooms in both vacation apartments are equipped with a TV.
A separate seminar room is available on the upper floor of the property for conferences or similar events. Please contact us directly if you’d like to use the seminar room.
Special Features
Pets are welcome in our smoke-free home. You can conveniently park your car right in front of the apartment.
You can store your bicycles in a shed. A barrel sauna is available outdoors for a fee (50 euros per day)
!!!! Please note that, due to the building’s construction, the living room/TV room cannot be heated above 17 degrees during winter! Thick wool blankets are provided for you!!!! This also applies to the seminar room, which can be booked as an add-on upon request.
Next to the accommodation, there are several campsites that you’re welcome to book—so camping enthusiasts will also find what they’re looking for here!
An initial set of bed linens and towels is required for this accommodation and is already included in the final price.
Additional linen packages can be booked as optional extras.

Super nettes Personal, unkomplizierte und flexible Abwicklung, tolle Unterkunft mit vielfältigen Möglichkeiten!

Von Beginn der Buchung bis zum Abreisetermin war alles perfekt. Super netter Service, tolle, rustikale Location mit einer Einrichtung die die Liebe zum Detail widerspiegelt. Alles sauber und top ausgestattet, sehr gute Betten. Umgebung perfekt für Spiele , Lagerfeuer, Spaziergänge in der Natur etc. Die Unterkunft ist für ein Familien- Freundentreff, oder auch Firmenevent absolut empfehlenswert. Schade , dass nächstes Jahr schon viele Wochenenden für das gesamte Haus ausgebucht sind, denn wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
Verbesserungsvorschlag bei der Ausstattung: Bei den Geneinschaftsbädern könnten die Toilettentüren erneuert werden, so dass sie zukünftig " ohne Freiraum " vollständig abschließbare Türen haben.

Wir hatten das Haus für ein Offsite Meeting mit 12 Personen genutzt. Die Ruhe war ideal, um gut zu arbeiten und Ideen zu entwickeln. Das Team hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Wohnzimmer war allerdings durch die Größe nicht warm zu bekommen obwohl der Kamin den ganzen Tag brannte. Aber die kleineren Einheiten und Küche / Esszimmer waren sehr gemütlich.

Das Haus war sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Wir haben nur keine tiefen Teller gefunden!
