About this house rental
A quiet, secluded location… that means pure peace and relaxation! Enjoy North Frisian country life right behind the dike with up to 6 people.
The location
The country house, with its large, maturely landscaped property (1,900 square meters, fully fenced), is situated 100 meters directly in front of the North Sea coast on a cul-de-sac. A pedestrian bridge leads you to the outer dike—here you can ride a bike or go for a walk without any traffic. You can reach swimming spots, including a dog-friendly beach, by walking along the dike; everything is also accessible by car, with ample parking available. The nearest town is Bredstedt (approx. 7 km), which offers a full range of shopping options, a heated outdoor pool, doctors, and pharmacies. Husum (approx. 20 km) offers a beautiful inland harbor with charming cafés and restaurants, numerous museums, and weekend events.
The private fishing waters right next to the dike are also available for your use. The house is surrounded by fields, and there’s a small cow pasture right next to it.
Amenities:
This single-story, light-filled vacation home offers approximately 140 square meters of space for a large family: 3 bedrooms (Bedroom 1 with a double bed (2.0 x 2.0 m), a crib, and a TV; Bedroom 2 with two single beds; and Bedroom 3 with a double bed (1.8 x 2.0 m)). All bedrooms are equipped with blackout blinds. We’re happy to provide bed linens and towels.
The spacious living room, with its leather seating area, invites you to relax with a good book. A flat-screen TV (satellite), stereo system, and DVD player provide your electronic entertainment. Books and a collection of games are also available. The bright sunroom and the spacious dining area offer plenty of open space.
The comfortably furnished kitchen features a stove with a ceramic cooktop, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a coffee maker (filter size 4), and many other cooking utensils.
The vacation home was completely renovated and refurnished in 2011.
In addition to the modern shower room, you’ll also find a separate restroom.
A washing machine and dryer (for a fee) are available for your use in the small utility room.
On the sheltered patio, you can enjoy the view of the beautiful, large, fenced-in garden and the small pond (also fenced in).
For our youngest guests, a high chair, a changing table, and a crib are provided.
Special Features
In our smoke-free vacation home, we are happy to provide you with free Wi-Fi. Parking spaces are available right outside the door. The large property is fenced (80 cm), and up to 3 dogs are welcome.
An initial set of bed linens and towels must be booked as part of this reservation and is already included in the final price.
Additional linen packages can be booked as optional extras.

The house is lovely, well equipped and comfortable. We were there to do some birdwatching and visiting in the area and it is ideally placed. Dr Peters kindly let us check in early which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

Wir waren im August 2022 für 10 Tage in diesem wunderschön gelegenen Ferienhaus. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Der große und komplett eingewachsene Garten ist ein absolutes Highlight, in dem sich auch unser Hund sehr wohl gefühlt hat. Als Ausgangspunkt für ausgiebige Gassirunden am Deich oder Ausflüge in die Umgebung ideal. Für alle Ruhesuchenden, die gern Urlaub abseits des Trubels machen, sehr zu empfehlen :-) Vielen Dank!

Das Haus hält, was es verspricht. Unsere beiden Hunde haben den schönen und großen Garten genossen. Die Vermieterin war sehr fürsorglich und sehr gut erreichbar. Wer einen Urlaub in absoluter Ruhe machen möchte ist hier genau richtig.

Wir waren mit einem befreundeten Paar und unserer Hündin eine Woche im "Haus am Deich".
Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! Super schön gelegen, mitten in der Natur, direkte Nachbarn waren Kühe und Schafe.
Sowohl das Haus, als auch der riesige (eingezäunte) Garten waren super gepflegt.
Auch die Abwicklung rundherum war top.
Es war eine tolle Woche, vielen lieben Dank!
