About this villa rental
This stylish villa located in Vale de Milho, Carvoeiro has 3 en-suite bedrooms, a private heated pool (pool heating extra), ping pong table and spacious terraces on which to enjoy the beautiful sunshine predominant in Southern Portugal.
The heated pool is a generous 9m x 4.5m and is enclosed by a spacious terrace equipped with pool shower, sun loungers, ping pong table and a built-in barbecue with adjoining covered outdoor dining area so guests may grill and dine alfresco.
A large driveway gives an abundance of parking space. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and safes. The house has Wi-Fi throughout. There is a large smart TV in the living room enabling guests to watch NetFlix, YouTube videos and the like. Portuguese cable TV is also available as is a DVD Player. A cot and high chair are available on request.
Only 1km (a 12 minute walk) from the nearest beach, Praia Vale Centeanes is a stretch of golden sand bordered by striking sandstone cliffs. It has a snack bar, restaurant and beach goers can avail of watersports such as kayaking, pedalo hire and snorkelling.
Carvoeiro town centre is 2.5km away. This family friendly town hosts numerous shops, bars, restaurants and a beach at its centre. Live music is played every night on a stage next to the beach during the summer months.
The accommodation comprises of entrance hall opening into a dining area with vaulted circular ceiling and sliding doors opening onto a quaint courtyard. The courtyard offers a second barbecue, again with outdoor dining table. Stairs from the courtyard lead to a roof terrace boasting splendid vistas of the surrounding area and ocean - the perfect spot for a sunset drink. Also, leading off the entrance hall is a fully equipped kitchen which leads to a covered courtyard where the washing machine and tumble dryer are located, a WC and 2 en-suite, twin bedrooms. One of the twin bedrooms has sliding doors opening onto the terrace overlooking the pool. Both en-suite bathrooms comprise of a double vanity, walk-in shower, bidet and WC.
The living area is located off the dining area and has an enclosed fireplace, a ceiling fan and wide sliding doors opening onto the terrace overlooking the pool.
The master bedroom suite is located off the living room. Sliding doors open onto the terrace, again overlooking the pool and the en-suite comprises of bath with overhead shower, separate shower cubicle, double vanity and WC.
Tourist tax
Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.

What a fantastic villa! It went beyond our expectations. We were 3 teens and 3 adults and we all absolutely loved it. The management company looking after the villa were receptive and polite. The cleaner was delightful. Everything we needed was provided. Wonderful.

Casa do Verao was perfect for our group of 3 couples. We each had our own room and en suite and the rest of the villa was spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool (we paid extra to have it heated) the ping pong table and the outside dining table. We had days out including the 7 valleys hike, sunrise paddleboarding, a dolphin watching boat trip and Slide & Splash water park. We loved coming back to the villa and cooking bbqs and eating outside. The villa was well kept with visits from the house keeper, pool service man and gardeners.

Wow. What a great vacation! This house is perfect. The directions for check-in were detailed and timely. The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived and had every possible thing you could need or want. The kitchen was well stocked with numerous sets of dishes, tupperware, pots and pans, kitchen appliances, etc. They even left a nice array of food essentials, which was very appreciated. We were traveling with our 2 teenage children, who each had their own room and their own bathroom, which was appreciated by all! The pool and the ping pong table were both a huge hit. The location of the house is perfect. You are walking distance to a 9-hole golf course. The beach is also walking distance and does have parking available if you drive. The beach closest to the house was great and had a nice, reasonably priced restaurant for lunch. It also had restrooms and chairs/umbrellas that you could rent for a reasonable price (the house has beach towels and an umbrella, but no beach chairs). Be sure to check out other beaches nearby. Caneiros beach was one of our favorites, but the restaurant was quite pricey for lunch. Just a little ways past Caneiros are 2 beaches, which were both easily accessible and had parking. There are also quite a few restaurants within walking distance of the house (great pizza at La Mona Lisa). We preferred Apolonia for grocery shopping - very clean and great food selection. We would highly recommend this house and hope to return!
