About this cabin rental
Dogwood Cabin at Tall Timbers Retreat sleeps up to 13 (or 9 in individual beds). Downstairs has a private room with a Queen bed and a pull-out full sofa. Upstairs has a private room with a King bed and a bunk bed, plus a loft with five singles (note: access to the private room is through the singles area). Two full bathrooms, one on each floor. It has a full kitchen and shared laundry access with Pine Tree Cabin.
Dogwood Cabin at Tall Timbers caters to families who enjoy an active lifestyle and also like to unwind. Outside your door, 30 wooded acres invite you to explore. Gather your family and have a day of fun playing sand volleyball, corn-hole, or utilize our on-site baseball/soccer field. Grab a book and take advantage of our outdoor swings and rocking chairs. Imagine the peaceful and tranquil sounds of nature as you let your troubles fade away with the afternoon breeze. As evening approaches, gather around the bonfire and gaze at the stars while making s`mores.
We are pet-friendly! Pets and animals may be accommodated with applicable pet fees. Barn and pasture use for larger animals, including horses, requires advance inquiry and is subject to availability.
Guests enjoy full access to the grounds and their private cabin, with support always available by phone.
Located just 5 miles outside of Nacogdoches, the property offers peaceful country living with the convenience of being close to everything the town has to offer.

This was the perfect place for my family to stay during parents weekend. The house was so clean and comfortable with everything we need to relax and enjoy time together. I will be coming back - if anything because I slept better here than almost ever before.

We originally reserved a VRBO in town, but the owners canceled on us two weeks before graduation. We weren’t looking for a lodge, but we needed a place that could host 8 people. We were so pleasantly surprised with the Dogwood Lodge. It was so clean! We spent a lot of time outside admiring the beautiful pines and watching our grandson run around. It was also nice to be able to bring our pup. I think Dogwood ended up being a better fit for our family than the original rental.

We were heading home to Houston right before the storm was coming through, we made a decision to find a place to stay instead of going to the storm. This was a great place to grab groceries and just enjoy. We cooked for every meal & played outside on the property.
