About this apartment rental

This is a 1 bedroom Ocean View condo/suite timeshare in one of the top resorts in Virginia Beach, and goes for over $700 per night on Expedia in late August. Purchasing through this listing will therefore save you about $2100 over the course of one week.
This area is one of the top vacation destinations in the country due to beautiful white sand beaches, convenience to major metropolitan areas, and closeness to major theme parks including Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, and Water Country USA.

This property is one of the top resorts on the beach. It's one of the only ones with a 3.5 star class- higher than the Marriott and tied with the Sheraton. It has three pools, a tiki bar and restaurant, an indoor water play area for kids, and a 17th-floor oceanfront fitness center. The condos are top-notch, especially for a beach hotel, and include full kitchens, nice bedrooms, sleeper sofas, flat screen TVs, private balconies, and granite countertops.

Note that the only week available is that listed on the calendar. Unit is Ocean View, not Ocean Front. Ocean Front goes for $800/night in late August on Expedia. Guests will be able to request being on either the South or North side of the tower.

The Resort was very nice being right on the beach and very nice kid friendly pools which is hard to come by in Virginia.beach. There were both indoor and outdoor pools. The rooms were nice and pretty spacious, we stayed In a one bedroom with our baby, 4 year old, and 5 year old. We got there early and was able to check in right away. The reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars was because the room wasn't the cleanest. It was a jetted tub and was not clean around the jets and the shower curtain had mold on it. Fortunately all of boys take showers so it was easy to work around. Our balcony did have an ocean view which was nice but the unit next to us air conditioner blew right out on what small space we had so we never used it but to dry our suits. I'd recommend this place to anyone going to Virginia Beach with kids and we'd love to return to this same place next year.

The Ocean Beach Club resort is definitely one of the prime hotels along the boardwalk. It is modern, clean, and the fact that it includes a kitchen is such an advantage over the many hotels along the strip that only provide a hotel room on the beach. Several grocery stores are located within a 5-minute drive from the condo, and, of course, souvenir/beach shopping, as well as affordable and delicious restaurants, run parallel to the boardwalk, right behind the hotel. The hotel provides many amenities for families to "play", including several pools, a game room, lounge areas, and a delicious restaurant with happy hour cocktails and a gorgeous view of the beach. I have stayed at several hotels along the strip, and this is, by far, my favourite. The only set-back which was a little disappointing, was the fact that this particular rental is situated at the street (west) end, not the ocean-front (east) end, of the hotel. In the past, my family has always stayed at a full, ocean-front condo with balcony, and the ad for this condo was not clear about how much "beach view" we would receive. The room, although a corner room (which is nice for more windows), looks out mainly onto the street and onto the side of the hotel. When we arrived, we were placed in a north-facing unit, which literally looked onto the roof of a parking garage across the street in one direction, and over the air conditioners of the hotel in the other direction, as well as onto the balconies of about 20 other units next to us. The "beach view" was really just a smidgen, if you craned your neck out over the tiny balcony of the unit. I was dismayed at the time, so I asked the front desk if they could arrange a different room for us. Although the condo must remain at the street end of the hotel, the manager was very kind and moved us to a south-facing unit, which provided much more view of the ocean, and did not stare onto the balconies of a neighbouring hotel, but rather over the entrance to the beach, where a live band played each evening. This side of the hotel was also much more sunny. I was very grateful to the staff of the hotel for this accommodation. Overall our stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed our vacation very much!
