We enjoyed a lovely fortnight's stay in this spacious and charming house. The interior and exterior are very well maintained, the kitchen and bathrooms nicely fitted out and equipped to a homely extent. Living spaces both inside and to the front and rear are comfortably furnished, the pool is a good size, the salt water soft and refreshing. The place has a quiet and secluded feel although there are adjacent properties and a shop and bar in easy walking distance. The hillside air is very clear and the drive upwards is not perilous. Nearby towns included Sabaris which we liked very much - several good restaurants with a pleasant outside terrace. A good menu of Galician food and drink at excellent value prices. A very appealing authentic Spanish feel both here and in Baiona (with several good stretches of beach) - only heard about three other English conversations in the whole fortnight! It's a delightful region of Spain. Porto is about and hour and fifteen with Santiago and Ourense also well worth visiting at similar distances. Spanish main roads are excellent in the north west. Sad to have missed out on the Cies Islands by leaving booking too late in high season. Temperature generally very warm whilst we were there although the heatwave was exceptional. Scenery attractive enough for the weather not to matter too much. A memorable holiday - very pleased indeed to have found this property. Communication with owner was excellent and considerate throughout. Thank you.
