About this house rental
This spacious private house is overlooking a nature preserve where you will be able to observe lots of wildlife such as ospreys, deer, hawks and herons. Kayak from the backyard to Long Island Sound where you can explore, fish or swim. Short train commute to Grand Central in less than 40 min. House offers 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8, library, sunroom, dining room, office alcove, wooden deck, professional kitchen. Fireplace and free firewood available. Basement excluded. Oakland Beach and The Marshland Nature Conservancy in Rye are minutes away. Also nearby are shopping in Greenwich, CT, Rye, and Larchmont and family entertainment at Rye Playland. Lovely neighborhood. Cats sometimes live in this house and we allow cats, but no dogs. The house is not available for monthly rentals.

Christoph was a very attentive and responsive host. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. His property was large, charming and well suited for a family or friends gathering. The kitchen was especially well stocked for any good cooks. The property also had a great view of a nature preserve which gave it a country feel even though it is close to the city. I would recommend this house and would definitely return!

We made the most of our Mamaroneck stay at Christoph's beautiful home. The setting is picturesque and calm, the size of the property perfect for a family reunion and the décor interesting and tasteful. We hope to have an opportunity to visit again, as this home is a wonderful place to celebrate and share family time, indoors or out.

This was an ideal place for our group. In a lovely neighborhood, it is spacious, was great for gathering together for meals, multiple people could work in the kitchen at the same time. There is also plenty of space to escape the group. Loved overlooking the tidal stream behind the house--we always knew what the tide was doing! We were extremely happy in this house.
