Perched on the cliff-side nearly 400 meters above the sea, Ikia Kriton is a traditional Santorini house in Imerovigli, blessed with breathtaking views of the caldera and ideally placed to discover the whole island.
Renovated in 2015 from an old town house, the elegant minimalist building fully embraces local architecture and traditional features whilst tastefully combining local handcrafted furniture with modern flourishes and offers abundant space for you to relax in – indoors or outdoors.
The building is split into two distinct parts – the ‘cave house’, traditionally known as ‘iposkafo’ which is carved into the volcanic soil and the remaining which is sitting just over the foot path and opens out directly onto the veranda.

Our stay at this VRBO rental exceeded all expectations—the property was even better than advertised. The home offered a spacious and beautifully appointed living area, with plenty of cozy nooks for relaxation and generously sized bedrooms that made everyone feel comfortable and at ease.The views were absolutely breathtaking. Most evenings, we found ourselves lingering on the balcony after dinner, captivated by the shimmering Aegean Sea and the lively charm of the walking path below. It was the perfect setting for unwinding and soaking in the local atmosphere.Kriton, our host, was exceptional. He coordinated transportation for multiple arrivals seamlessly, arranged for a porter to assist with our luggage, greeted us personally upon arrival, and shared thoughtful recommendations for dining and entertainment that truly enriched our experience.We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. This property is a gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing getaway.

I dont believe the pictures posted do the house justice. The property is pretty big and possesses an old world charm with the conveniences of a modern home. The views are spectacular and Kriton was very attentive to our requests for transfer to and from the port and airport, along with transfers to other towns.Highly recommend!!!!

Only positive comments on this beautiful property in the caldera. Highlights include its stunning views with good restaurants within walking distance. The host arranged for our transport from the airport and for a porter to carry our bags. Daily maid service with clean towels and coffee pods. Host provided good restaurant recommendations. Great shower with toiletries.

We had a perfect stay in Santorini. Eirini was beyond helpful. She made herself available at all times for anything we needed. She was a delight. The apartment itself was spacious, well-designed for two couples, and extremely well appointed. The view from the terrace was spectacular and the location was ideal. We highly recommend this wonderful place.
