About this house rental
Between sea, ponds and pine forests .... welcome to Frontignan-plage.
Ideal up to 4/5 people, this triplex house of about 45 m2 duplex is located 30 meters from a sandy beach in a quiet residence, cradled by the sound of the waves.
The accommodation offers including a large shaded terrace, 2 bedrooms (one with sea views and another mezzanine), a main room with living room and kitchen, free WIFI, a flat screen TV with bunch of channels and a place private in a secure parking in front of housing.
The house has been renovated and equipped for the sake of comfort with new equipment and materials giving pride of place to the wood.
EQUIPMENT
In the main room (real kitchen open to living room): sofa nine three places (non-convertible), bistro table, flat screen TV, kitchen with wooden worktop, new appliances (multifunction electric oven, microwave, fridge with real freezer, electric griddle, dishwasher, ceramic hob, coffee maker + electric filter, kettle and toaster, washing machine).
Upstairs, spacious master bedroom with direct access to the bathroom and sea views
Sleeping bed 140 x 190 on bed base and comfort mattress. Closet and dresser
Possibility to install a cot (not supplied)
Corner desk that can also serve as a changing table
Bright bathroom with window, shower and storage cabinet
On a 2nd level mezzanine, bedroom with velux and separated from the parent bedroom by a door
2 twin beds + 1 berth on Bultex mattress
The duvets, bedspreads and pillows, of good quality, are made available. However, you must bring your bath and bed linen and towels and bath mats.
Baby equipment and children are provided: bath recliner, chair booster, pot. Possibility to use a game of balls for children and the games of beaches (buckets, shovels)
The paved terrace of about 18m2, without vis-à-vis and fenced by a wooden palisade and a low wall is suitable for young children. Sheltered from the wind, it has a wooden garden table with chairs, a wooden bench and an electric roller blind. An electric barbecue, deckchairs and a rocking chair are available.
SITUATION AND ACTIVITIES
The house has the advantage of offering a quiet stay while being 5 minutes walk from many shops open mostly in season (restaurants, bars, mini market, wine cellar, bakery, tobacco, souvenirs, ready-to-go -carry). The little extra: the baker moves in season in front of the bowling green, a few meters from the house.
The accommodation is suitable for holidaymakers, spa-goers, festival-goers and sportsmen, but also for people who are on an internship or start of professional activity in the Montpellier area.
Recreation nearby are many and varied:
The house is the starting point for beautiful cycle paths along the ponds and ancient salt marshes and crisscross the woods of Aresquiers, a forest by the sea.
Hikes in the hinterland, kite-surf practice on a reference site (club near the residence), kayaking trips, at sea or on the Thau lagoon.
The port of Frontignan has a sailing club, a diving club and bicycle rental.
Horse and pony rides are also offered at the Aresquiers woods, along the ponds and the Rhone canal.
A boules pitch is located in the residence.
Possibility to rent bikes (on request)
Many nature, cultural and sports activities are offered all year round by the tourist office located at the port.
The city of Sète, "Venice of Languedoc" offers a 10 minute drive
wide range of activities: pleasures of gastronomy, meeting with the world of fishing, traditional games, thematic visits around Brassens, nights in music at the rhythm of its many famous festivals.

Coming by train:
TGV station in Sète (car rental companies nearby) or TGV station in Montpellier then TER to Frontignan. Buses serve Frontignan-Plage all year round.

We spent a week with our 2 kids in this house and this was ok in our case and with smaller kids: the sleeping-chamber in the 2nd floor with 2 separate beds is not made for person >170cm.
The 3rd remaining bed is approx 160x200 and has a nice hard matrace. It is not in a real room but solely separated by a thicker curtain.
We were extremely happy with the location only 50m from the beach. Also, kitchen, bathroom and overall cleanness met our expectations. Restaurants a around the corner and a small shop is too.
A bit of a disappointment is the lack of any kind of mosquito-nets at doors or windows... there are a lot (!) mosquitoes.
If I recommended this place to a friend with his wife and their two small kids, I would advise them to bring cheap and disposable mosquito-nets to make the stay even more pleasant.
A bit unpleasant was, that 3 out of 6 days the parking place belonging to the flat was occupied by other tenants or their guests. Since there are no "free" parking-lots in the area, we had to park 300m away and carry our stuff. Not what we had expected.
The beach is ok, I would rate it 3/5 stars because of the many stones. The water itself was nice and clean.
Is it an overall recommandation? Yes, if you are aware what you are getting. And what not: this is not spacious, neither inside nor outside (the photos somewhat made it appear bigger than it is) and the money you pay (even though the interior is nice) is mostly justified by the closeness to the sea.
