About this villa rental
Ampuero is a quaint village located 10 kms away from the beach of Laredo, a town located half way Between Bilbao and Santander. Centenary oaks, fruit orchards and green fields with scattered cattle surround the house which is placed on a hill overlooking the village. There is only a five minute walk to the main square, but it feels as if you are in the middle of nowhere. The amount of leisure activities available within the house and the area make this property a great option for a family break.
The house is completely available to our guests, there are no locked rooms or secret corners. They will enjoy all its surroundings Also, over a hectare of fields Where you can pick the fruit from our trees Directly or feed the sheep and cattle around. It is Also perfect to organize barbecues and outdoor games. Around 50 meters uphill you will find another guest house and the hosts house, in there you can jump into the swimming pool, sweat a bit in the paddle court and have a drink with your hosts who will point out all the attractions, historical sights and different activities that you 'must do or see before leaving. There are other surprises around, but we wait for you to come and check them out for yourselves.

Spacious well-equipped house set in lovely garden with beautiful views of surrounding countryside. Excellent host, friendly and helpful. The sheep were a great success with our 2 year old grandson! Ampuero was a lively little town, not at all touristy and with plenty of amenities and the beaches 20 minutes away were beautiful. Excellent week!

The villa was perfect for our stay. Beautiful views overlooking countryside and Ampuero. Jose is a great host. He speaks excellent English and commication was really good from arrival to finish.

We stayed for one week. José was the perfect host. Always smiling and a lots of ideas and suggestions for what to do in the area. He also brought us fruit and vegetables from his garden. The small village is just a few minutes walk and has a couple of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. For us it was perfect!

Excellent house in a quiet area. The garden was excellent and the pool area was very fine. José and Sara were very kind and always available and their dogs Nour and Tabu was so lovely. We felt at home.It went really well. I recommend it.
