About this house rental
Enjoy this gorgeous, newly renovated home that offers it's own private dock, 2 outdoor decks, kayaks/rowboat, firepit, boche court, horseshoe pit, garden, large grass yard for play, gorgeous landscaping, upper and lower level with panoramic lake views. Granite counter tops, new cabinets, professionally decorated. Top floor is separated from bottom floor for privacy. Upstairs boasts 3 lovely bedrooms with a full bathroom, open kitchen, living and dining room. Back deck leads to outdoor shower. Bottom living area is a studio apartment with a full bathroom and kitchen area. House has an instant hot water heater for continuous hot water. Air conditioning in each room. Sit on your deck and overlook the lake or get out on the lake for some fishing/swimming or take a quick drive to any one of Falmouth's 9 public beaches. Fishing rods are stored in our shed. Take a ride on the shining sea bike path. Enjoy Falmouth or go to Martha's Vineyard for the day. The ferry leaves directly from Falmouth! The possibilities are endless. SUNDAY - SUNDAY BOOKINGS ONLY except for the last weeks of August.

This is a very well equipt house with everything you might need in the kitchen in terms of appliances - there were 4 different types of coffee machine! WiFi speed was good, we loved the outdoor shower and pond access and the air con was very effective in all rooms and the view from the office desk is fabulous. Outside there are lots of different seating areas to catch the sun or shade at different times of the day. We used the flat lawn and facilities for small ball games and cornhole. There is a small rowing boat, 2 kayaks and a SUP with a few paddles. As this is a families own holiday home that they share there are lots of personal touches that make it feel very homely, it is not a clinical minalmist property.The recommendations that were provided and the house instructions were very comprehensive and helpful.It’s a great base to explore Falmouth, surrounding beaches and areas and ferries to Martha’s Vineyard and whale watching from Hyannis.If staying here you need a good big repellant and a car. We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 teens that had lots of fun exploring the pond by paddle and swimming independently.

Had a great stay at this property. Enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking on this crystal clear pond. Plenty of space in the house to spread out. Back deck, overlooking the lake, was fabulous. House included all the amenities you need. Downtown Falmouth just 10 minutes away.. I highly recommend this property for your next family vacation!
