The #1 and most popular private vacation home at the Grand Canyon. Located on closest property only a few minutes from the Park. With 2 living rooms, 5 bedrooms, and 3 baths you'll find this fully furnished home so much more comfortable than a hotel. Fun memories happen here!! It's so convenient for all your day trips. Very private and quiet surrounded by nature and it's friendly wildlife nestled in your own little world only a minute off the highway to Grand Canyon. Bring the family, bring 2, you've got plenty of room to enjoy your own space and a wonderful nature experience right from the comfort of your own home. Enjoy 2 roomy sitting areas. One has an fireplace, with great southwest decor. A private family room which is a quiet place to visit or read. You can fit a large crowd into the large country kitchen . . .fully furnished. The large table expands to 11 chairs with more at the bar and plenty or cookware and counter top space. Don't forget the sunset and great views.
After a gorgeous sunset, you can enjoy the local nightlife with a wide array of entertainment or have a quiet evening around the instant fireplace enjoying each others company or watching your favorite dish network channel.
This area is an artist's and photographer's dream. The children especially love the Birds f Prey --Flintstones Town, the arcade, bowling, Indian dancing and cowboy singing, all approximately five minutes away, and the Deer Farm with so many tame and friendly wild animals, just 5-30 minutes away.
You'll feel the quaintness and quiet of rustic remoteness, yet be just two minutes off Highway 64, and about 15 minutes from Grand Canyon National Park.
This mountain-view home is conveniently close to all the places you'll want to visit. And convenience stores, gas, and food, restaurants and gift shop facilities are only about 5-10 minutes depending which way you go.

Loved being back a dirt road with house situated on the natural landscape. Very comfortable. Room for all of us to spread out. Great to come back to after a long day at Grand Canyon.

We enjoyed several aspects of the property, particularly its convenient location just 20 minutes from the Grand Canyon entrance. The house was unexpectedly spacious and very clean upon arrival. We appreciated the comfortable beds, lots of bath towels, and two living rooms featuring large couches and TVs in almost every room/bedroom. Another review commented on the water pressure, but we had no issues and the water was hot too. We also appreciated the availability of the washer and dryer. The house is not the most up to date and could use a general update in a few areas. The wooden steps/deck in the front entrance was showing its age. A burner on the gas stove was not functioning. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, but all of the items makes it feel cluttered and disorganized, as its hard to find some pieces or the matching lid to the pot. While we appreciated the games in the closet, a few were missing pieces.We were not there to stay at the house during the day, so it served its purpose, as a clean place to sleep with comfortable beds, couches to relax after hiking, and a place to cook food.

Re-reading the listing after staying here, it's clear to me that it's been written by a professional property manager or real estate agent. We did enjoy our stay, yes, and Trish was responsive and gracious about questions & concerns - HOWEVER the quality and attention to detail were sadly significantly below what I had hoped, which was particularly disappointing since I was booking with my 80 year old parents :-(
A few examples:
- "hair dryer included" meant literally one hair dryer (that is, in one of 3 bathrooms)
- entryway stairs are in disrepair and a very literally disintegrating outdoor mat are hazardous for anyone, but especially anyone with *any* mobility issues
- there were (unmarked) dead outlets in the kitchen and unusable fans in some bedrooms
- kitchen might be "well stocked" in terms of literal items available for use but the chaos with which they're stored added frustration and limited the kitchen's usability.....
And there's more, but my purpose isn't to blast this listing so much as to say you should know what you're paying for. This is a windswept, rather-dated ranch house in the middle of pretty much nowhere (yes, there's a convenience store 5-10 minutes away but not more than that for 30 minutes) with all the basics covered, brand new washer/dryer, comfortable living room sitting areas, a great remote location close to the Grand Canyon, and incredible stargazing...but don't expect refinement.
