About this house rental
Located in a small quiet village, ideally located in the heart of the lot, close to the Dordogne, equipped with WIFI, "LAVISTE" contemporary house of 110 m² on one level can accommodate up to 6 people. Up to date, with all its modern comforts including 3 bedrooms of 11 m² each equipped with a double bed 140x190, the bathroom with Italian shower, equipped with double sinks, 1 separate toilet, the large fully equipped kitchen equipped with a table and 6 chairs open to the living room. By opening the large picture window in the living room you access the 2 large terraces of 35 m² which overlook the swimming pool treated with salt of 8mx4m and secured by an electric shutter. Around the house a large, partly shaded garden of 900 m². There are many activities nearby: paragliding, golf, fishing, swimming, canoeing, horse riding, strolling on the Lot in gabarre, leisure center of Caix.
Located in the center of major tourist sites: Rocamadour, Saint Cirq Lapopie, Padirac chasm, Bonaguil castle, Pech-Merle cave, Puy-évêque, medieval town ...
At 500 m, the center of the village where there is the small bakery. Prayssac is 15 km away with all amenities, Cahors 20 kms, city with a great historical past, especially with its famous Pont-Valentré and its AOC vineyard. to see the link on our site go to the equipment section at the bottom

Excellent property one of the best we have ever rented, there was plentiful supply of everything. Clean light and spacious.. big bathroom with efficient shower. 3 largish bedrooms. Plenty of hanging space. Very well appointed both inside and outside. Lovely calm and private location in National Forest..lots of beautiful birds and birdsong. Pool was lovely too. House manager was charming and helpful despite our poor command of the French language! small issues for us…The shower was excellent but the floor a bit slippyThe pool was entered and exited by steps which were steep…it would have helped if there has been a handrail ? It was very hot during our stay 35 degrees plus … and there wasno air conditioning in the house although a large fan was available.

The gite was very comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen with a gas BBQ. The salt water pool was fabulous and heated to 28 degrees so warm even when the weather wasn't very hot. Thedirac is a pretty village and has a boulangerie a short walk away. The small town of Catus is a short drive away and has an excellent butchers, wine shop and Spar. Would definitely stay here again.
