About this apartment rental
Great 2 bedroom apartment on one level with views to a lovely church. Its a 5 minute walk into Deal and the same to the beach.
The lounge dining area is large, light and airy with a small veranda to the side. The kitchen is again of good size and has a vaulted ceiling is well equipped and has a central working area. There is a double bedroom with surrounding cupboards, a twin bedroom and a nice bathroom offering a Jacuzzi bath with shower over, w/c and basin. There is a small garden area for your private use.
This is a very well presented property offering a good level of accommodation in a quiet location yet within easy reach of an Historic Town and the beach.

Very nice flat 5 mins to Walmer Beach quiet location handy for getting out and about for walks etc great that there is use of an outdoor garden and a balcony

The location was good and the instructions were easy to follow.
Good points: The beds were clean with suitable bedding for the weather. Parking was good.
Ample room for everyone and furnishings were somewhat elegant.
Less than good: The apartment is well in need of some TLC. Some facilities were not useable, namely the spa bath. The controls were seized and not adjustable. The only way to get it working was to turn on the safety RCD in the cupboard (With wet hands?) The drain plug needed strong fingernails to remove as, like most other fittings would not move.
On the subject of safety, The smoke alarms should have been replace in September 2012, Likewise, the carbon monoxide detector replaced in 2016!
The standard of electrical fitting including ceiling lights was bordering on dangerous.
Curtains were ripping around the eyelets as they were too small for the rods.
Attention to detail was non existent, there were four clocks in the apartment, all saying completely different times.
The kitchen was well equipped and some items were nice and new. Others not so.
As the apartment allows pets allowance was made for this, but cleaning above head height returns me to the title, Could do better.
