About this cottage rental
Our Cottage is directly across from the state park in Grand Haven. 5 bedroom, 2 bath home directly across the street from the state park, and completely renovated makes this cottage the perfect location with all the modern conveniences. The upper-level renovation was just completed in March of 2022 with updated decor, bedding, and new carpet.
We book from Saturday to Saturday all summer. We also book long weekends or a minimum of 2 days for the rest of the year. It is the perfect getaway year-round. In the summer you are steps away from the beach and in the fall and winter watch waves crash into the pier and lighthouse from the front four season room. The main floor has newer appliances including a washer and dryer. Marble counters with snack bar, wood plank flooring, and shiplap walls.

This cottage is in a perfect location - right by the entrance to the state park. In the summer it might be louder at night with lots of cars going by, but we visited mid-September and everything was much quieter. We practically had the state park to ourselves during the week. The cottage came supplied with everything we needed, and the weather was beautiful. It is one of the nicest cottages we have rented in the last 10 years!

We had the most wonderful stay in Grand Haven for our family girls’ weekend! The house was spotless, perfectly located, and had gorgeous views with such a peaceful atmosphere. It truly felt like the perfect home away from home.During our trip we enjoyed shopping, walking out to the pier, and had an amazing dinner at Snug Harbor. The highlight, though, was simply having quiet, quality time together to bond as a family.Stacey, our host, was fantastic—very accommodating with quick response times. I accidentally left my purse behind and she kindly helped me get back into the house, even though she was busy hosting a football party at the time. That level of kindness and flexibility meant so much!We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our time together. Thank you, Stacey, for making our trip so special!

We stayed in this cottage years and years ago. The renovations they have done are very nice. Definitely a great location and perfect for kids!

Our family comes to Grand Haven almost every year, and this is the first house we’ve ever wanted to stay in twice! The location is a great balance of beach and city. In previous stays at other houses, we would make it to the beach once or twice. But with La Dolce Vita, my dad and toddler son walked over to the beach every morning. (It’s right by the playground on the beach!) And we popped over for sunset almost every night.
This house itself also has a great, large living area for our different little groups to all hang out together. The sun room area is nice to hang out and be with everyone in the living room, and makes it truly feel like a beach house.
We cooked breakfast in the kitchen every morning and it worked for just what we needed.
Everything was clean and put together. We’ve stayed at older properties down the street but this one was a good balance of renovated and classic cottage feel.
The porch got a lot of use, too. So much fun to watch all the people go by.
We also really liked the fact that this house is owned by an individual, Stacy. We didn’t need anything while we were there but she was very communicative and check-in was a breeze!!
