We had a great view of the lake, the house was as described, clean, and the host was very organized.

We were very happy with the house and will rent again.

This cottage is in a perfect location - right by the entrance to the state park. In the summer it might be louder at night with lots of cars going by, but we visited mid-September and everything was much quieter. We practically had the state park to ourselves during the week. The cottage came supplied with everything we needed, and the weather was beautiful. It is one of the nicest cottages we have rented in the last 10 years!

Our family comes to Grand Haven almost every year, and this is the first house we’ve ever wanted to stay in twice! The location is a great balance of beach and city. In previous stays at other houses, we would make it to the beach once or twice. But with La Dolce Vita, my dad and toddler son walked over to the beach every morning. (It’s right by the playground on the beach!) And we popped over for sunset almost every night. This house itself also has a great, large living area for our different little groups to all hang out together. The sun room area is nice to hang out and be with everyone in the living room, and makes it truly feel like a beach house. We cooked breakfast in the kitchen every morning and it worked for just what we needed. Everything was clean and put together. We’ve stayed at older properties down the street but this one was a good balance of renovated and classic cottage feel. The porch got a lot of use, too. So much fun to watch all the people go by. We also really liked the fact that this house is owned by an individual, Stacy. We didn’t need anything while we were there but she was very communicative and check-in was a breeze!!
