Quietly tucked in the woods, this large Kingswood West home has four bedrooms, three baths and a two car garage. Surrounding the property is the Tahoe Forest, owned by Placer County, giving this lovely home a true "retreat in the woods" feeling! Sit on the deck and enjoy the serenity of the forest, hop on your mountain bike or cross country skis and hit the vast trail system, or take a quick drive to one of the many sandy beaches of Lake Tahoe or Northstar/Palisades/Mt Rose/Diamond Peak ski resorts.

We had a family of 12 stay at the cabin, 8 adults and 4 children. The cabin did not feel crowded at all and accommodated everyone. The bedrooms with the queen and bunk beds were great for the families with children. The place was well stocked with everything you needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The location was centrally located to what we wanted to do.

The place was great, we have time to enjoy outside and inside. The only additional suggestion is to add batteries and to the controls in the master bedroom. Also, leave the TV and equipment in the master ready to use. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

The house was beautiful but needed many small repairs- our biggest problem was the heater and fireplace not working. It was literally freezing!!
