Surrounding the property is the Tahoe Forest, owned by Placer County, giving this lovely home a true "retreat in the woods" feeling! Sit on the deck and enjoy the serenity of the forest, hop on your mountain bike or cross country skis and hit the vast trail system, or take a quick drive to one of the many sandy beaches of Lake Tahoe or Northstar/Palisades/Mt Rose/Diamond Peak ski resorts.

The place was great, we have time to enjoy outside and inside. The only additional suggestion is to add batteries and to the controls in the master bedroom. Also, leave the TV and equipment in the master ready to use. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

We stayed here for four nights with four families, and overall it was a positive experience with a few ups and downs, as you’d expect with a large group. The host was very responsive and quick to address any issues that came up during our stay, which we really appreciated. The property is conveniently located and well situated, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The photos honestly don’t do the home justice—it felt even better in person. With a responsive host and a great location, this home worked well for our group.
