Wake up to the sounds of ocean waves rolling in...a sunrise stroll with the sand between your toes. Afternoons filled with family fun in the sun. Sunsets and refreshing drinks by the pool or on your private balcony. THIS is beachfront living! Welcome to beautiful Indian Rocks Beach, a small community known for immaculate white sand beaches that are family-friendly, incredible natural wildlife, and close proximity to amazing attractions up and down the Gulf coast. This vacation oasis surrounded on both sides by water is also home to our boutique beach getaway, a graceful 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse with direct beach access and endless ocean views.
Upon entering your eyes linger for a moment on the cozy, coastal cottage decor...then travel directly to the view from the living room to the unobstructed ocean front balcony. The balcony overlooks lush tropical gardens and sand dunes that flow right into the quiet beach and azure blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. A cozy kitchen, breezy and open living/dining room layout and full bathroom complete the entry level.
Upstairs, each spacious, beachy bedroom has a water view-- one directly facing the ocean, the other facing our private dock on the intracoastal waterway. Along with a king size bed in the main bedroom and two queen size beds in the second bedroom.
This unit comes fully equipped-- sheets, towels, complete kitchen accessories, TV, central heat/air, beach chairs, etc. Also included are full cable service and internet access at no additional charge.
The private, beachside pool is heated and well-appointed for relaxing or grilling, with the adjoining sand dunes providing a gorgeous natural barrier to the pristine beach just steps away.
And oh, that beach... whether you're into shell collecting or water sports, swimming or lounging with a good book, this is the place! Best of all, a recent beach renourishment program has tripled the size of the sugary white sand at your doorstep.
Unlike many of the busy neighboring resorts along Gulf Blvd, The Happy Fiddler is a small boutique property located in the highly desirable "Narrows" section of IRB, with no other homes or condo developments facing it. That lack of foot traffic means stepping onto a stretch of beach that always feels quiet and private, regardless of the time of year. But when you're ready to see the sights, this property is just a short two-minute walk to the area's fun beachy restaurants, ice cream shops and shopping district.
Those interested in further exploring the coast in search of adventure won't have to travel far: the Tampa Zoo, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island are close day visits; nearby downtown St Petersburg has the world renowned Dali museum and a host of smaller museums, galleries and parks along its charming waterfront marina; gorgeous Clearwater Beach, with it's incredible nature preserves and famous Marine Aquarium are just 20 minutes up Gulf Blvd; and various charming smaller towns like arty Dunedin and Mediterranean-flavored Tarpon Springs are close as well.

Communication with the host was great! Location right on the beach and close to restaurants and bars was clutch! We had a rental car but we were close enough that we walked to dinner at a different restaurant every night. The condo could use some TLC but the location definitely helps a guest to overlook some of those minor issues.

Another wonderful stay! This is our second time at this property and will be back next year! They literally have everything you need at the condo! The location couldn’t be better!

The condo was clean, well stocked w blankets, pillows, towels & beach gear. The AC worked great, the beach view was all that we hoped for. The ease of getting to the beach was phenomenal. The decor was super cute & put together. The area was so charming and loved that we could walk to many places in the evening for dinner.There were a few things about the unit that didn’t quite meet our expectations:The right half of the back sliding back door was broken, with the screen leaning up against the inside of the unit. The other side of the door didn’t lock. It seemed like a safe neighborhood, and we were on the 2nd floor, but a locking back door is definitely something that we expected.The deadbolt on the front door was near impossible to lock as well. We were able to lock it once, and never again after that. The lock on the keypad did work.The shower head in the bottom shower needs to be replaced. Water was slightly better than a trickle when coming out. We ended up not using that shower because of this. The description indicated that the unit had its own washer & dryer. When in reality, it’s a shared facility that you have to pay to use. All in all, we would stay here again, and hope that these fixable issues were fixed. The good outweighed the bad. LOVED the area!
