About this apartment rental
A charming apartment that has been completely renovated with great attention to detail in the furnishings and decor.
The apartment and its large balcony overlook the old town and offer a beautiful view of the Haut-Jura mountains. With a southeast-facing orientation, you can enjoy plenty of sunshine all day long.

You can set out on foot right from the house for hikes or walks in the forest featuring waterfalls, rivers, and caves—all without a car.
By car, you can explore the peaks of the Jura Mountains; on foot in summer and on skis in winter. The lakes are about 30 minutes away from the accommodation at most. Restaurants such as Les Louvières, the Saint-Claude Golf Club restaurant, Le Préfillet, and Les Bois Ronds are high-quality establishments that welcome you year-round. They are located in town or in the surrounding small villages.
Landmarks: Hérisson Waterfall, Lake Vouglan, Lake de l’Abbaye, Lake Clairevaux, Jura Mountains.
The Swiss border is 35 km away; Geneva is 60 km away.

We had a fantastic time in Saint-Claude. Stephane provided all the information we needed before and during our stay. The apartment is beautiful - the pictures don't do it justice. The high ceilings and natural light make it feel airy and fresh, which was very welcome on hot days.
If you like hiking or trail running you'll love Saint-Claude. You can find trails 5 minutes from the front door, and it's only a 40 minute drive from Crêt de la Neige. The town is big enough that it's no troubling finding somewhere to eat or drink in the evening.

Waterfalls and woodland. 30 mins to Les Rousses ski area . Need a car.

Modern apartment about 500 meters from the center, very clean and well-equipped. Balcony. Relatively roomy for France. Gas stove, fridge, microwave, clothes washer. Large shower. The pictures in the listing donot do it justice. Of the 3 apartments I had this trip this was the nicest.

we spent the long weekend in the St Claude area. The apartment was lovely - perfectly laid out with all the equipment you have at home. The view from the balcony is lovely.
