About this house rental
Waterfront home designed by Skaneateles architect Andy Ramsgard. Floor to celing lakeview windows and doors in living room, kitchen, dining room and masterbedroom. Mahogany floors throughout. 3 bedrooms downstairs--master bedroom has king bed, guest bedroom has queen, childrens bedroom has 2 sets bunks, 2nd floor loft has 2 sleeping areas each with queen bed--sleeps 12; 2 full baths, kitchen with granite countertops, ceramic Jenn-Air cooktop, all new appliances including dishwasher, oven, microwave, washer and dryer. Living room has fireplace. Large multi-tiered deck with hot tub, gas barbeque, table, chairs, 4 ADK chairs, 2 lounge chairs. Sandy beach with gradual decline, ideal for small children, large sand play area, bonfire pit, Boston Whaler boat with 9.9hp motor, 1 double kayak, 2 single kayaks, 2 paddle boards.

My family stayed in this house in 2017, 2018 and now 2025. Unfortunately, since 2018 the property has not been well maintained. We were there for a week and I reported to the owner was that a neighbors dog was continually in the yard. After texting the owner the dog came back every day. In fairness, the owner did try, but I didn't want to spend the week texting about stuff that was not going to be resolved. The house desperately needs a deep clean. Every corner/fan has significant dust/spiders/webs/bugs. The dust on the overhead lights is significant and if you look in the heat registers the dust is nearly a 1/4" thick. We tighten one of the lights because when the washer runs (doors do not close - it is loud) it shakes the lights. The chairs by the fire needed the spiders to be brushed off and deck was covered in pine needles. It would seem this should have been done prior to our arrival. The couch does not look anything like the picture posted - buttons are torn off and it is very worn. The lights in the bedroom as you walk in dim for no reason and the light in the bathroom shower stopped work the 2nd to last day were there. The hot tub actually registered 108 and we had to remove water and fill it with the hose. The deck is really bad shape. My 2 year old nephew went to look through the spindles and the spindle moved - this was terrifying. The boat takes on water and the deck is missing a large piece of a stairs which a pet or small child could trip on. So much more.
