About this chalet rental
Just minutes away from several of the Georgia wineries, tasting rooms and Dahlonega wedding venues. Special rates for families visiting students of the University of North Georgia. A very spacious home for family gatherings. Three stocked trout streams - Dick’s, Waters and Boggs Creeks - are just a 15 minute drive from Heart of Wine Country. Don’t forget to bring your fishing gear! Heart of Wine is a dog friendly property, so bring the whole family.
This wonderful home features large windows, open living room, dinning, and kitchen areas. The are both a standard drip and a Keurig coffee maker for your convenience.
This is a three level property.
The top floor is a king bedroom open loft with a private bath.
The main floor has a living room, dining area, kitchen, & 2 queen bedrooms with a newly remodeled bathroom with walk-in shower.
The bottom floor has a second living room, small bar, fireplace, a ping pong table and a queen bedroom with a full bath.
There are three televisions at Heart of Wine Country: main floor living room, downstairs living area and the master bedroom.
Outside, you will find a hot tub, porches with outdoor furniture and a gas grill. There is a pavilion with chairs and a porch swing overlooking the Chestatee River just 150 yards from the house. The view of the river from the pavilion is peaceful and relaxing.
This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.
• Minimum Age Requirement: Heart of Wine Country is a Luxury property and available to families or to guests 25 years or older.
• Parking: Space is available for 3 vehicles.
• Access: The road is paved and driveway is gravel
• Pets: Pets are are allowed at Heart of Wine Country.
• Location: 23 miles to downtown Helen. 9.5 miles to Dahlonega.

We booked Heart of Wine Country because it was pet friendly, near Dahlonega and close to many wineries. The layout of the bedrooms was perfect for one couple and three singles - and of course the pup! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery and pots and pans, all in good condition. We spent our days at local waterfalls or wine tasting. We spent our evenings playing board games, building puzzles or reading by the fireplace. It was a great relaxing week and the perfect place to celebrate a milestone birthday! Georgia Mountain Rentals is professional, friendly, helpful and very responsive. They are our only go-to rental agency when we visit the mountains. Thanks for a great experience Jessica and Sherry!

the men couldnt even get down to the fishing stream at all, needed lawn service bad., we thought the way the pictures portrayed, we would all enjoy staying there all day, that didnt happen!! We stayed with you folks last year at a different cabin, there was to be a discount on this rental , that never happened either. Just got a bad tasteoverall!
