The view and pool were worth everything would happily return to that quiet area.Perfect location for a quite retreat.

Very nice house overall. We used the pool and barbecue. The view was gorgeous. It was a little further from the wineries we planned to visit but was a easy trip to Porto by car. The was some excellent hiking nearby. We could have used trash bins in the bathrooms. We would have appreciated a notebook with recommendations about restauants and things to do

The house was excellent, the pictures didn't do it justice. The view of the Douro river from many rooms and the yard was beautiful. It was very clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked, everything one would need.
We took two day trips to Porto which was only 20 minuets away.
I have one suggestion, better directions to the house so we could have eliminated the phone calls.
