On the first floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room filled with regional handicrafts—true works of art from the owner’s stunning private collection. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher. There is also a large formal living room with a fireplace, offering magnificent views of the front and back gardens. The incredible private gardens are filled with lavender, cypress trees, magnolias, wisteria, and chestnut trees.
There is a magnificent granite reservoir surrounding the house, where the water flows directly from a spring; it’s a lovely spot in the evening to read a book and enjoy the silence and the squirrels hopping among the chestnut trees.
The pool is illuminated and surrounded by a terrace, a barbecue area, and plenty of comfortable furniture.
The house features a large game room with satellite TV, a pool table, foosball, a VCR, a DVD player, and a surround sound system. An exquisite suite completes this floor, with direct access to the gardens. The vast, magnificent gardens, olive groves, and forests surrounding the property invite you to take a stroll through the peaceful woods surrounding the house, past the stunning waterfall that is part of the farm, where visitors can swim and even fish for trout.
Many interesting destinations in northern Portugal are easily accessible via the highway. Located just 80 kilometers (49 miles) away, Porto is the country’s second-largest city.
