Quinta do Outeiro 1598 is a historic estate whose foundation dates back to the year 1598.

Located in the Lima Valley, in Ponte da Barca, near the Peneda-Gerês National Park, it was renovated in 2022 by the renowned architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, resulting in a perfect blend of past and present.

The house and its rooms feature designer furniture, providing guests with a high level of comfort and tranquility. The entire interior decoration follows a contemporary, minimalist design, where natural light plays a central role.

The property offers 7 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, 3 living rooms, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. It can accommodate groups of up to 20 people, with a maximum of 14 adults and 6 children/babies.

The outdoor area includes a swimming pool, gardens, a terrace, and courtyards surrounded by a uniquely beautiful natural landscape.

The estate produces wine, blueberries, and chestnuts, and guests are welcome to take part in agricultural activities.
