Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a beach deck, dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three beach access points with the main access located near the pool and clubhouse, one access point in the mid-north area and another at the south end of the Cottages.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time. The sand area landside of the seawall is accessible at all times for recreaation.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, therefore we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

We loved this cottage! It was super clean and comfortable. The linens were luxurious, the beds were comfortable and the furniture and appliances were very nice quality! The pool area was fabulous! The clubhouse, the gym and bathrooms were very clean as well! The screened porches were amazing - super large and tons of furniture to accommodate all guests. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a perfect home for our little group! The location was perfect and a short drive to downtown shops and a short drive to the fishing pier.

nice but not for us... 19 steep stairs not KID or old people friendly
master bed very uncomfortable
no way to wash off feet or beach gear outside no water hose.
No regular coffee maker.
lots and lots of books all on a low open bookcase, had to move them all my grandson kept getting into them.
we have never been to a beach where most of the time there was no beach and so many stairs up and down, no easy way to bring down beach chairs etc.
We brought our bikes great island to ride bikes, no easy way to put them in house and rules said cant leave on porch.
we were so disappointed.
