About this cabin rental

My place is close to Garner State Park (3 Miles), Lost Maples Park, Frio River, Concan, Utopia, Kerrville, & Uvalde. The famous three sisters (best driving roads in the USA) You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night.
Sleeps 4 – This cabin offers a one queen size bed, two twin beds, full kitchen, bath, heat and air, picnic table, and BBQ grill.
This cabin includes the following:
Fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishes, and utensils to prepare meals.
BBQ pit and picnic table with grilling utensils.
Covered front porch with patio furniture to sit, chit chat, read or just do absolutely nothing but enjoy the beautiful Texas Hill Country views!
Each bed has a quilt, pillow(s) and a mattress protector. You must BRING your ownTowels, Sheets, & Pillowcases (Queen & 2 Twins).
Free Wi-Fi - Country Wifi is for basic texting b/c phone service is not always great. It is not intended for working or downloading music/movies.

We stayed here for 4 nights while our kids and grandkids camped 4 minutes away on the Frio River. Very convenient for us and looked forward to the A/C at the end of the day. Has everything you would need or want in a rental. The bathroom is fairly small and could use some updating. Beds were comfy. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed the property. Stayed 2 nights. The only thing was bathroom is tiny. My husband hit his elbow on the soapbox twice.He wasn’t too happy about that. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

My partner, mother in law, child and myself came to Leakey for a race my boyfriend was doing. We needed a place to stay that also allowed dogs as my dog has cancer and only a couple months to live. We found this cute place that was the perfect fit! The host shared a lot of helpful information for the town before we arrived. The decor was cute and there were grills and swings around for my child to play with. The only downside was the door was not always the easiest to open. We loved this place and would visit again.

Just passing through while visiting different state parks. Proximity to Garner State Park was perfect and the accommodations were as expected so no complaints.

The location, although not on the river was great. Did not see the property manager once which I didn’t mind. Their convenience store was never open. The cabin itself was poorly made with the cheapest materials. The bathroom was so tiny that my knees and head hit the wall trying to use. The shower needs a definite make over. Three quarter tub with your gradmother’s old pink tile. The walls are plywood. Kitchen adequate. Appreciated the full size fridge. Dining table was great. Porch was covered and large but needs a new paint job. Mattresses were old. Flying bugs were a problem; now I know why they provide a flyswatter. Two small ac units were adequate except no air flow in Bathroom. The grounds were quiet and restful. Despite my evaluation, I would be willing to stay there again by myself, but not sure I would bring my family there.

Being in Leakey was a fantastic starting point for lots of nature adventures, and this little cottage got the job done, though I wish I'd paid closer attention to just how close the property is to the highway; it's such a peaceful area until you hear a car blast by. Finally, I felt pretty uncomfortable staying as a solo female traveler because the only other person on the entire property all weekend was single dude. He stayed directly in the cabin next to me and could see all my comings and goings. I realize this is out of the hosts hands, but just something to be aware of as a possibility.

This is a great place to stay, we were absolutely satisfied with our experience. There were a few things that were interesting but clearly defined. Such as there was bedding provided but not sheets, as well as pillows but no pillow cases. The AC worked great and the small kitchen provided a great area to do what we needed. It was an absolutely perfect place for us to stay in our short stint there.

I needed a cabin for a family member who travels with pets, and this was the perfect set up. Nice and cozy, but the best part was the communication and attentiveness of the host! She went above and beyond to make sure we knew the area, and the ins and outs of the property.

The property is cute and functional. Roomy enough for the family for sure. Almost everything we wanted to do was a 5 min drive away. My only complaint is the tiny bathroom. We reallyenjoyed th beautiful scenery and bbq /bonfire opportunities. Was a great stay and fits a budget.

Cute little place. Nothing fancy but comfortable and loved the property. Has minimal dishes so if you have a couple of people you may want to accommodate for that but otherwise, it's great! They even have a gift shop/ convenient store on site which was a huge plus due to lack of ice in the area.

If you appreciate simple country living then you will definitely appreciate this rental. Cabin was perfect. There was a burn ban so I was not able to enjoy a fire in the ring and didn't even bother with firing up the barbecue pit due to a lot of wind this weekend however there was a small kitchen that had everything you would need to prepare a meal. I was also close enough to all the parks and points of interest in the area. I will definitely be renting from whiskey mountain inn again in the future. Thanks for having me guys! Rex,
