Sophia mountain villas

Very cool temperature compared to the rest of the island. The location was clean and it was quiet.

The road to reach the villa is a bit discouraging.

Idealny, bardzo komfortowy i przestrzenny dom usytuowany w górach. W okolicy cisza, spokój i odpoczynek od codziennego zgiełku, tłumów i miast. Obiekt czysty i w pełni wyposażony w ręczniki, kosmetyki, klimatyzację, moskitiery i okiennice. Stały kontakt z wynajmującym, Giorgos był przemiły i bardzo szybko reagował na każdą wiadomość (bardzo Ci dziękuję!), bezproblemowy i bezobsługowy check-in i check-out. Na powitanie czekała na nas lodówka pełna zimnej wody, to miły gest w kierunku gości obiektu. Serdecznie polecam wypoczynek w Sophia Mountain Villas!!! Pozdrawiamy! Paulina z rodziną :)

It's just a perfect accomodation with a great price for everyone who has a car on the island. Clean and well equiped.

Perfect stay. The house is very large, modern and very clean. A comfortable sofa and a large table. The kitchen is fully equipped with good quality appliances. Full set of dishes and products (dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, coffee machine, kettle). There are 3 spacious bedrooms, one bathroom and two toilets and shower. Enough to accommodate 3 couples. There is a shaded terrace on the west side with a large table for eating outside in all weathers, perfect for breakfast and enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. On the east side there is also a terrace and a hard built pergola with a large barbecue. Upstairs there is a balcony terrace. The garden is shaded and allows you to park your car in the shade at any time of the day. The garden is enclosed by a rolling gate. The wifi is very good as well as the 4g reception. The small village of Gyri is typical and very quiet. It is located in the centre of the island which allows access to many sites of interest in less than 30 minutes. The beaches of Porto Roxa and Plakaki are well equipped. East coast the family beach of Alikes is good. Locally there are at least two great walks with beautiful views (Vouno at the top of the island 1h30 walk and the cave of Xahioti (1h walk. Beautiful view on the east of the island, Cephalonia and the mainland). The village is extremely quiet and we appreciate the silence at night and the starry sky. It is about 5 degrees cooler than on the coast (altitude 550 m) so we sleep well and enjoy the coolness of the evening (we didn't need to use the air-conditioning - the house is well equipped though). There is no swimming pool but why come to Zakynthos if it is to dive into a pool, the warm and transparent Ionian Sea is so much better. There are shops in Agios Leon at 10 minutes and a restaurant with a very good welcome and home cooking : Selene. Giorgos gave us all the instructions from a distance and was very responsive.
